Great place to enjoy La Paz. Walk to the Malecon, parking right outside the place. Carol is a great host with lots of information in the area. Breakfasts are wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable. La Paz is such a wonderful place to visit, so different from Cabo. Safe, walk the streets, watch the sunset. Carol has a good selection of wines...

We were disappointed. While the Romeo and Juliet room has a comfortable bed and lovely furniture, for $145 a night in La Paz (similar to prices we pay for a five-star B & B in Boston), we expected a shower that worked adequately and a view of the Sea of Cortez from our rooftop deck that wasn't mostly blocked by...

Dear Sue, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that your stay was not what you expected. Your comments are a reminder that there is always room for improvement. The shower issue has been addressed and corrected. I would have taken care of it sooner had I been aware of your on-going difficulty. Thank you for telling me about...

Our stay at Casa Tuscany was outstanding! Carol is such a wonderful hostess, she treated us as if we were family. Her breakfasts were very delicious. Carol gave us lots of suggestions on places to see and eat while we were there. We had a very relaxing time while we were there and will definitely visit there again.

I spent six nights at Casa Tuscany in March and I have no complaints. Carol is a wonderful host and the breakfasts are tasty and filling (the waffles were my favorite!). The B&B is located just off the Malacon that runs the length of the waterfront and is in easy walking distance to good restaurants, shopping, tour operators, etc. Carol...

Stayed here with my little dog "rosie" for carnival. Was the perfect spot only 1 block from the malecon.Hostess Carol cooked me up a terrific breakfast every morning and i felt most welcome with my dog.The courtyard was relaxing and a fun place to enjoy watching the birds. The top level provided a view of the bay and the surrounding sights...

Carol was a warm and welcoming host. She was helpful locating restaurants, points of interest in La Paz as well as Ibarra Pottery a wonderful place to buy handcrafted items made in La Paz. We were comfortable in our room, enjoyed the breakfasts that Carol provided, and the lounging areas within the courtyard. One morning Carol made a Danish pancake...

Casa Tuscany is a gem of a Bed and Breakfast in LaPaz. It is in a easy to find, central location. Our room, the Romeo and Juliet room, was spacious, quiet, and lovely to spend time in. We had 3 private patio areas all to ourselves. Breakfasts were delicious, always served with ripe fresh fruit. The best part of our...

This is a very relaxing, in-city B&B, with great access to everything that matters (to us) in La Paz. It's only a block and a half from the Malecon, and close to the main streets that pass through the very walkable business district up the hill from the water. A very friendly place that seems to attract good breakfast conversation....

We have visited Mexico many times, but I have to say that our stay at Casa Tuscany was outstanding in so many ways. The location- walking distance from the sights and restaurants of LaPaz. The rooms- beautiful, tasteful, comfortable and quiet! The staff- Carol and her staff take great pride in their inn, and it is evident by the friendly...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Beyond the front gate and behind the walls of Casa Tuscany lies an inn reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. All guest rooms have private entry and open out onto a central courtyard where Costa's Hummingbirds rule. These friendly fliers are very curious and often buzz guests, especially if dressed in bright colors. The Malecon, or boardwalk, is only one block away and invites guests to stroll, bicycle, roller blade, or just sit on one of the many benches to watch the sea and the sunset. Casa Tuscany is close to just about everything in La Paz, encouraging visitors to get out there and experience the local culture without the encumbrance of a vehicle. Rooms are nicely appointed and all rates include taxes and a sumptuous breakfast. ... more   less
