Casabuena was the perfect place to stay with our three children. The rooms and the communal palapa were gorgeous and the hosts are fantastic people. This is more like a home atmosphere instead of a hotel. We easily walked everywhere.... downtown, grocery store, market. The neighborhood felt very safe. There was internet access, fully equipped kitchen & outdoor grill, and...

Perfect for young children and adults, very pleasant, very relaxed, host and hostess were extremely friendly and helpful. Great place for a family reunion. They have 11 rooms so each family could have their own space and the grandma's could have theirs. The central "Palapa" had a large kitchen, plenty of dining space and a nice TV area. The pool...

There was a total of 18 of our family members staying there with us as well and our extended family visited the Palapa every night and Milton and SueSue where so welcoming. We had a fabulous 10 days at Casabuena! The relaxing atmosphere provided an enjoyable "home base" for our family reunion. With 18 of us staying at Casabuena and the rest living in LaPaz, the palapa provided a nice location for our Christmas celebration with 29 total family members. The 6 blocks to the boardwalk was easily manageable even with little...

This was a great place, very affordable, with a very laid back ownership. the rooms were clean, no frills, but there was maid service and good water pressure and plentiful hot water. you can put your rental car inside the compound gates, which is nice, as the surrounding neighborhood is rather deserted. there is wifi in the communal kitchen that...

This place is clean, inexpensive and mellow. Even the animals are mellow. It seems to attract very nice people to it. Perhaps it´s because Milt and SuSu are exceptional people. They are very good people but not icky, gooey nice. Just good human beings. An example...when I got to the BaJa Ferry I discovered that I had forgotten my very...

As a once and future cruising christian boater, the Casa Buena is the next best thing to being in La Paz on your own cruising boat. All the local knowledge to get the good eats and entertainment, and adventure of La Paz, as well as the business directions to make your trip profitable. Milton rescued me from a winter weather...

Had a great time at the Casa Buena. The couple that run it were full of advise if you need it. Don't come here if you expect to be served drinks by the pool, I am sure there are other places for you. There are 2 very mellow dogs that greet you and a couple of playful kitties around to...
