Good value, comfortable, well located and clean. Staff are very kind and always with willingness to help you, specially Gabriel. My room was spacious, clean and serviceable. There are comfortable places to sit in the courtyard. There is a nice restaurant for breakfast at the bottom of the street (La Fonda). Plenty of them within a short walking distance. Malecon... This is the second time we've stayed here, and it is always good. It is nicely located only a few blocks from the malecón. There was some construction and dog noise at one point, and the bathroom was quite cramped. Other than that, a pleasant stay.

If you enjoy good value and an authentic Baja experience, Hotel Lorimar is your place. Our room was a little dark and cramped, but clean and serviceable, and the wifi didn't reach there, although there are plenty of comfortable places to sit in the courtyard where it did. We met Mike, the friendly proprietor who has run Hotel Lorimar for... More

Comfortable, clean and convenient. Not exceptional but it does what it says on the tin, and a welcome rest after a long journey. There is a nice restaurant for breakfast at the bottom of the street. La Paz is an unpretentious working city with a colourful market area and attractive waterfront, well worth a stay rather than pressing straight on... More

We spent 4 nights at this quiet place, Lorimar Hotel where our rooms were comfortable and clean. Bathrooms were good with hot water and Air-conditionning worked very well. The last night the air conditioning broke up so they changed our room for another one where one of the beds was a little bit hard but finally ok... The staff was... More

Exactly what I needed in a hotel. Inexpensive, fantastic location right up the street from the malecon, wifi in the lobby, clean bedroom, air conditioning, and functioning shower. Mattress wasn't the most comfortable I've ever had and my shower took about 5 minutes to warm up, and the A/C was from a window unit rather than central but those are... More

This hotel features good quality and quiet rooms with air conditioning. The staff is very friendly and the location is excellent. A good restaurant, La Fonda, is one block away. Great hotel value for La Paz.

Stayed at hotel lorimar at the end of July. Location is perfect, can walk to everything. Given the location, besides the hostel around the corner, this is by far the best value for money. I've looked around and believe me! The front desk staff are great, speak english fluently and are all super friendly. Housekeeping everyday is also very thorough.... More

Location is good; being near the beach and bus station. The hotel is only a short walking distance to some of the landmarks of La Paz. The price is reasonable but the hotel is old and in desperate need of upgrades. My initial impression was that the place is simply in need of a good cleaning, but later I realized... More

The Lorimar is a block from the La Paz Malecón along the Sea of Cortés. The staff is friendly and trustworthy. The rooms are basic but clean and quiet, great value at $30. A furnished apartment is also available by the week or longer. It has a lovely private balcony with a view of sunset. Best to negotiate the rent.
