This is a really great new (~ 10 years old) development across the harbor from the main city of La Paz. The management is great, by Mexican standards, quiet, and there is a lot to do there too. The best was a boat trip to La Isla Espírito Santo where we saw amazingly diverse forms of wildlife from whale sharks...

Stayed at Paraiso Del Mar from December 22nd to January 4th with my family. The condo complex is on a private "island" which requires a quick boat ride to get there. First off, let me tell you that the condo we stayed in, D301, was fantastic! It was huge and everyone in the family got their own room, bathroom and...

La Paz is such a treasure! November and December the best months to visit this place. Paraiso Del Mar is a superb development, isolated on an island with endless beaches, clear water, and warm community. The water ride and land transportation is free, amazing gourmet restaurant near the pool, golf , tennis, kayaking and only 10 min on a boat...

For us, Paraiso is our home in the Baja. We rent a car in San Jose and the travel up to La Paz is all part of the experience. Sight seeing adventures are abound in La Paz. Paraiso, is perfect for us, with it being low key, and if we want excitement we take the shuttle and walk the malecon...

We went with two other couples and stayed in a 3Bed/4bath condo. The resort is on a private peninsula serviced by a private baot every half hour. We enjoyed golfing and relaxing at the pool bar and restaurant. The drivers and boat operators were very friendly.

We stayed in ground floor unit B103. The development is a little different in that you park the car at Marina Cortez and take a ferry over to the complex. There is a van waiting for you and drops you in front of your unit. The development is not complete and there are uncompleted buildings. However the completed units are...

We are a family with four adult children and loved the 3 bedroom 4 bath condo. This development is totally private ie SAFE with a 10 minute free boat ride every half hour across the harbor of La Paz to the Mogote/peninsula. The property has been abandoned by the developer and taken over by the Homeowners association so has several...

The people here were nice but beware the developers have abandoned this resort with several buildings left partially-built. We did not find this out until we arrived. It is almost empty with few amenities, the restaurant was only open some days for part day. They have 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards available for guests but only allow them to...

We visit La Paz at least once a year and every time we stay at Paraiso Del Mar. This place is an oasis away from the chaos of the world without being completed isolated. The condo we stay at (3rd floor) is fully furnished, comfortable, with an amazing view. You walk in and feel like you are home and not...

This is a difficult place to get to depending on your city of departure. We flew into Cabo San Lucas. Since the connecting flights to La Paz did not hook up well we took transfers by mini bus to La Paz. That was a 3 hour ride. The condo is a lovely property but we probably did not utilize it...
