I rolled into town on a day when the cell service and internet were down due yo a cut cable in the sea of Cortez. The staff were still really friendly and helpful. I didn't meet any real English speakers behind the desk but there was no problem. The room was great, the a/c and shower were the nicest I...

Excellent location on the Malecon, adequate and clean rooms, helpful staff. Free, off-street parking if you have a car. Yes, some rooms can be noisy. Front desk helped us identify a quiet room so it worked out well. Many rooms have a water view. Small pool, lukewarm "hot" tubs. Terrific terrace above the pool to relax, watch the action on...

Don't overthink it, just go an enjoy it! Yes, it is a older basic hotel (with some history) with just adequate amenities but... -Location is perfect, right in the middle of the Malecon. -From early AM until late in the evening, people are out walking, jogging, dining, driving along etc. -You may want to ask for a quiet room, if...

This hotel is located in the heart of the Malecon. Which is good and bad: Good: It has some good restaurants near, the Malecon is walking distance Bad: It can get noisy at night because of the night clubs and bars. Specially if you have babies, the noise might wake them up at night. Also, if you have a car,...

For the price you won't find a nicer place in town. The people there are extremely friendly and very helpful. They were even able to direct us to a doctor when my wife injured he knee. This is our 3rd time there and we love it and will be back!!!

Standard problems: Toilet problems but fixed quickly; Not enough towels but brought quickly; Air-conditioning not the best but adequate. The good side: Right on the Malecon; Close to good restaurants; Very nice little pool; Great playground overlooking the bay; Very good staff.

We were just spending one night in La Paz and didn't want to spend to much. La Perla was the prefect fit. Centrally located on the Malecon walkway. The Hotel was extremely clean. Nice pool and baloney to sit on and people watch or even better watch the sunset. The room had the basics and reminded me of a motel...

La Perla was a nice place to stay in the heart of La Paz Mexico. They parked your car for you but I didn't care for them having the keys if you need something from the car. You walk up a steep flight of stairs to get in to the registration. The place is quite beautiful. It has a pool...
