We stayed here last fall for 2 nights. It was not extravagant, luxurious, pampering, or any of those other words spoiled Americans seem to lavish on resorts where they are waited on hand and foot. What it was --clean, comfortable, affordable and very large. Biggest plus---it had the most amazing ocean view! We enjoyed our 2 nights so much, we have...

We booked this place because of the Rosarito to Ensenada Bike Race this past April 21-22. Boy, is that peak season! The two-bedroom suite in the hotel was big enough to accommodate the five of us. Here is the downside: The hotel room had a musty old smell to it, and felt drafty and dusty for some reason. The bed...

Don't be fooled by the word "Resort" in the name. It's far from it. As mentioned in other reviews here, the location is very nice and the architecture has alot of appeal, but if you're looking for anything more than a place to crash, stay elsewhere. We reserved one of their 2-Bedroom Villas for this past Friday night. We were...

I went there for New Years Eve with 3 other friends. We had a two bedroom suite and the view was spectacular, the room was clean, and the beds were comfy. The grounds are well kept and lovely, although it's a bit of a hike to the 'sandy beach', it was still a nice walk and a good time. Everything...

We have been coming to Pyramid Resort for over 10 years. It's a nice, relaxing property with beautiful ocean views. You will find condos of all sizes. Our favorite are the penthouse condos that sleep 8 and are a great value for the money. They run between $160-180 a night. There are basic kitchen supplies and two balconies looking out...

Pyramid Resort is located off Mexican Highway 1, between Rosarito and Ensenada in Baja California, Mexico. The closest "town" would be Puerto Nuevo. The resort is a cluster of white stucco pyramid-shaped condos/townhomes (aka "suites"), built terrace-style into the oceanfront hillside. The resort includes the suites themselves, a manager's office, several parking lots, swimming pools and hot tubs. The suites...

This was absolutely the creepiest place I have ever stayed! We were traveling with two other couples - each couple had their own "room". Being that one of the other couples booked our "room" for us, we were nieve as to what to expect. Let this be a good lesson for us. When we arrived (late in the evening) we...

Our favorite South-of-Rosarito hotel was booked when we tried to get reservations for a last minute weekend getaway (as were all of the nearby hotels listed on TripAdvisor), but the hotel referred us to the Pyramid Resort a few miles up the road. Not really a resort, but good value for basic oceanfront lodgings. (These appear to be condos rented...

This resort is halfway between Rosarito Beach and Ensenada near La Fonda restaurant. So the down side is that it is not near any metropolitan areas. However I would recommend it for anyone who just wants an ocean front relaxing getaway. The condos are beautiful and each one is decorated individually in bright Mexican colors and with lovely paintings and...
