The girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights recently. The pool is stunning, and having the casino attached to the hotel is just simply cool. It's way bigger than either of us expected as well with slots plus table games. Just be ready to remember your dollar peso exchange rate. Staff was super friendly and bilingual and the location...

The hotel is very old, they are making changes and renewing the property, but still a lot of work to be done. Is nice that has a casino adjacent to the hotel, but if you are not a gambling person is not worth it. The pool and Pool area are nice.

Having a parking lot with vigilance is a real plus! To my mother the best part was the casino! Personal is very nice and professional. They accommodated my mom to a room that was closer to ours and not far from the elevator. I hope they invest in water efficient shower heads. You can offer a nice shower without the waste!...

Location of the hotel and the pool area are nice. Got a room where there was a long, high-pitched beep EVERY TIME someone in the building (or on our floor?) turned on the shower. People started showering well before 7AM. I find the paintings in the lobby, halls, & room disturbing. I think they are supposed to evoke mayan paintings....

I would give this hotel I higher rate, but hall way, rooms, and bathroom all need to be updated. Pool, and Jacuzzi should be surface strained every morning, especially on the weekends. Casino and staff A+

The hotel was great! From the minute I booked, the hotel staff was accommodating and helpful. Prior to my stay, I was able to schedule a shuttle for 20 people for wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe with the concierge, Isaac. The shuttles were there and ready for us when we arrived. They knew my itinerary ahead of time and...

Somewhat disappointed, there was a lot of noise from the pool. The hot water was not working for many hours and we were not notified when we arrived. There was no bath towel, the next day I asked for one and it was provided. No iron and ironing board. The hotel provided toiletries were poor, did not have a pleasant...

Staff was kind and nice, pool is the only thing going for this place. We stayed at a ground floor room, paid $152.00 dollars on a busy Sunday. Talk about getting ripped off, the room was a total dump. Old, runner down, in desperate need of service. Cracked tiles in bathroom, mirror also old and dingy. Bathroom vent extremely dirty,...

Had the chance to stay at one of the classic, retro hotels in Ensenada; the San Nicolas Resort. For me, there are millions of hotels that all look the same, but don't have character and history. So it's a pleasure to stay at such a famous hotel built in the late 1960's. The owner, Nico Saad, is gracious and has...
