Clean and tidy place . Close proximity to beach and market ( around 1.5 Km ) . Good view from the swimming pool . Silent place and far from the crowd . Small eateries and the super market is close by.
It's a good hotel. The rooms and washroom are clean and so is the private pool. The amenities provided are good and the food is very very reasonably priced, though the options for vegetarians are limited. The top roof pool is good and drinks are value for money specially during happy hours It's a 20 min walk from the beach and doesn't have sea view but the pricing of the room is accordingly done. I found it worth Would advice not to book tours and activities from the hotel desk, it's at least 25% more expensive than the market rates. You can use it only for two wheeler rentals though
This hotel is hard to review because the hotel itself is fantastic. Great roof top pool with fantastic rooms, clean and good room service. It really is beautiful but trying to get a good night's sleep was impossible but I suppose you are surrounded by jungle and you can here all the wildlife which is lovely but not when you want to sleep. The Muslim prayer music wakes you up at about 5am and the birds. I did really like the hotel though and that it was a little bit out of the main area. Was great to get a boat to Railay and the tiger temple was fantastic. The pool bar was open but most of the time you had to ring from your room to reception that the staff had disappeared.
This was a last-minute booking during a busy period but the hotel managed to fit us all in. No time to carry out my usual TripAdvisor research but the family were all happy with the hotel. We checked in and the ‘scene was set’ with the attitude of the staff, who were friendly, relaxed and reacted in a natural and straightforward manner and this attitude was reflected throughout our stay with the other members of staff. It is a relaxed, beach-style hotel, albeit it is not near a beach, but sea shells in the lobby area and open walls throughout the hotel for a breeze also ‘set the scene’. Coffee etc and ice creams were available in the lobby and it was a nice place to relax. There is a tour desk in the lobby managed by Taan, another pleasant person, and she made arrangements for our trips at a reasonable cost – she has different types of tours at different prices which was a plus point in her favour. We experienced three different types of rooms, the upper ones with a small dipping pool built into the balcony of each room, the lower ones which were basically the same but without the pool and the family room, a slightly small version of the same layout but with a door leading into a second bedroom, smaller but with an ensuite bathroom and was quite impressive. All rooms had comfortable beds, were equipped with the usual facilities for this standard of hotel and with a nice sized bathroom, good shower and soap etc. The only criticism I would make of the bathroom is that there is no support rail for the elderly and handicapped. A surprise was the cost of the in-house laundry, usually very expensive in a hotel, but whilst it was a bit more expensive than outside, it was definitely affordable and we used it for the convenience: another plus for the hotel. There is a fitness room. No shops. Breakfast you could choose from a smaller one, a medium one and a full buffet. My adult son reported that the medium breakfast was OK. There is a pool on the roof, is unusually long for this grade of hotel and I was able to exercise in the morning. There are plenty of chairs and a small bar and tables so that you can unwind in the evening. Try the draft Chang beer. Walk out of the hotel and turn left and there is little to see, just some washing machines. Turn right, walk carefully for a few minutes along the road mostly without a pavement and you will find a few basic restaurant/stalls which we used for breakfast sometimes and one stall with nice sweets and one place with washing machines. The restaurant selling the shawarmas provided large portions. Walk past the Al Aman mosque and a few metres further on is a 7-11 but there is very little else. The roads are being widened so the area is a bit of a mess. We found the people at the stalls to be also very pleasant, relaxed and natural. If you can ride a scooter HIRE ONE and if you cannot ride one yet, LEARN before you go to Krabi (and Phuket for that matter), it is almost a must-have as taxis, tuk tuks and Grab are expensive. There is a night market roughly a 10-minute ride away with a good selection of dishes, especially seafood. The night market is part of the extensive and lengthy shopping, massage and restaurant etc strip along Ao Nang beach. We enjoyed our stay in Krabi and would be happy to return there and to the same well-run hotel. The only reason I have given a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating is the location.…
This was probably one of the worst hotel experiences I have EVER had anywhere in the world. After arranging a pick up with the airport from this hotel - and paying for it - they simply completely forgot about us and we ended up waiting at the airport for at least 45 mins, meaning that we missed dinner and had hardly any time left to explore Ao Nang on the one night we had to do that. Luckily it was only 1 night we’d booked here. When we did eventually arrive at he hotel, the staff were rude and simply laughed in my face when I told them they had ruined our evening. They made no attempt at an apology and literally tried to ridicule me in my face. The customer service here is UTTERLY WOEFUL - as was also demonstrated at breakfast with a complete lack of organisation, no cutlery or condiments on the table and useless staff all over the place. To top it off - the bedroom was just plain DIRTY with hair on the floor and the bathroom bin covered in god only knows what (some type of brown substance) and the toilet didn’t even flush properly!! Like I say, we luckily only had one night here though if I could take that night back and go somewhere else I would. A complete disaster of a hotel. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.…
Superb hotel my wife and I stayed here in November 2022 today is our last day and I suffer with food allergies, the chef went out if his way to accomadate me and make food for me during breakfast times and it was my birthday while here and my wife with the staff organised a surprise coconut jelly birthday cake with balloons etc in the room it was lovely. All the staff are very helpful friendly with attention to detail the food is very good and both the cocktails and restaurant food is very well priced there is a stunning roof pool where you can lie about and watch the sun rise and set and order food to extremely happy woth our stay. There is a free taxi to run you in to ao nang night market and the beach area and a stunning hilltop restaurant within 4 min drive again free transport to and from this all organised by the staff just ask and they will help you out with anything motorbike rental available from hotel 250 thb per day if your doing the isalnd tour don't use the speedboat as its not comfortable unless you get a private one they offer more luxurious boats to relax on expert to oay between 4000 and 5000 thb for 2 people including food and drinks for a nice boat there is a lovely restaurant called reeve near the beach fire show every night excellent however prices are same as UK I would suggest eat before you go and just buy drinks to watch the show, railway beach is worth a visit and is quite cheap on the long boat 400 thb return for 2 people and a tub tuk return to hotel is no more than 100 thb don't let then tell you any different, the hotel ros are modern clean and really lovely we opted for the top room with private dip pool was lovely if you initially book woth booking.com then add extra night ls on direct with the hotel its much cheaper we got additional nights at just 2000 thb per night including breakfast, my wife and I have travelled quite alot in Thailand and stayed in many hotels we cab nit fault this one at all other than the WiFi is a little slow in se areas but buy yourself a thai sik AIS is the best network and you will get 5G for very little and be able to call the uk if needed for only 5 thb per min if you dial 00500 then the number we would certainly visit Krabi again where as we visited Ko samui in March and wouldn't go back, and for those of you that like to sample cannabis there are many bats and shops here that you can buy high quality weed and cakes without braking the bank.…
We had an amazing stay in the hotel, we got a standart room which was very clean, beaty and quiet. The hotel also has an amazing infinite pool view an amazing view and a lovely spa for a reasonable price. You can book a trip in the reception or rent a bike for good prices. Definitely it's an excellent hotel considering the ratio quality/price. Negative points: extremely slow wifi internet (almost impossible to send pictures via whatsapp/messenger), a little bit far from the center and the beach (around 15min walking - you can solve this problem by renting a bike 😊)
