we went there with the '7 Islands Sunset Tour with BBQ Dinner and Night Snorkeling from Krabi ' and we were not so impressed. it was the BBQ and sunset part. Very crowded, no place to eat. served cafeterai-style. the beach was ok, but not worth the trip there. Maybe if you are part of the resort, they might have... More

The island is a rubbish dump covered in garbage. A 2 minute walk into the jungle(?) I discovered exactly where all the rubbish is dumped in huge piles which then just lows back to the beach over night. They ask visitors to pay 20 Baht as a fee to "keep Poda beautiful"???it is ot worn a sop on he island... More

Its the last stop during our premium 4 island hoping. You will totally disappointed if your think this place can let you relax for sunbathing and sea sports. You may found the island is a great place for sun basking. The sand here was soft and the seawater here was clean and warm. But, a few step walk up the... More

We booked this hotel ahead and came here by boat. We asked the same boat driver to come and get us at the next day, and also made a deal about the price. Everything went fine, we didn't have to pay any extra cleaning fees because we stayed at the hotel. There were quite a lot of people during the... More

Emailed ahead for reservation and return boat trip. Arrived and no-one knew about reservation. Worse, was ripped off on the return trip, paid 2,000B when they said it would be 800B! Facilty lacks any ambience, food overpriced and mediocre.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The islands is private and has a huge number of tourists during the day. However the tourist leave between 4 and 5 pm and after that the island is really quiet. They have a few bungalows for rent, the more "expensive" ones have a sea view. They were 1200 bath per night. The room is... More

We showed up without reservations after getting an email about pricing earlier. When we showed up they dropped the prices and told me that we could choose from various rooms which they later changed to just the seaview rooms. They said that only one sea room was available and that was the one just behind the kitchen. The others were... More

Koh Poda is special. When I stayed there I was the only guest in the so-called "resort" which is basically about thirty bungalows and a restaurant. There are no roads on the island, no cars or motorbikes, no dogs, no television or internet connection and electricity is only available between 6pm and midnight when the island's generator is fired up....
