Had a pleasant 3 nights stay with a tent and two small children. It has to be one of the best camping sites in the Baltic states! The host is very helpful, all the facilities are clean, many garden trees provide the shade. There is also a nice tradition to set the flags of the countries represented by the travellers! In the morning one can buy croissants and other pastry. The place itself is not big, so you might want to make a reservation. Cannot say much about the cabins.
Nice and peaceful camping site surrounded by trees and meadow (as a camper we really appreciate being close to nature), still close enough to Haapsalu center. The owners were really friendly and welcoming and made sure we got a good spot for our tent. Clean toilets, showers with warm water, good outdoor kitchen and you can book a sauna for 15€ per hour. In the morning owner sold us fresh local bakery products which made our breakfast just spot on. Best camping site we stayed in Estonia.
This camping is run by hardworking, friendly people trying to give you a good time. WiFi available, clean and quiet. Of course not up to Westeuropean standards, so do not expect good looking facilities, but enjoy what you get in stead of it. Haapsalu is a nice town and the nature around is great.
The service was really nice and we got what we needed. The prices are affordable. Quite short way from the city center of Haapsalu. We were looking for a hotel in Haapsalu but because there was Italian Wine Festival in town all hotels were fully booked so we ended up to camp (with a RV) here.
Compact but convinient capsite in peacefull area. Enough place for campers and tents. Owner is kind and welcoming. There is kichen with equipment. Close to kichen is sl children playground area ( sandpit with toys etc) and some swing. Facilities are clean.
I had very bad experience with this campsite. A month before going to Haapsalu I made booking of cottage in their website. Despite my e-mails with request to confirm it they never answered back. After our arrival there were no booking for us and we were told that they don't give any feedbacks whatsoever (what is rather interesting). What is more, they were absolutely reluctant to help us to find any solution despite we had children and 8-month old neonate in the car. Luckily, there were people in Haapsalu so kind to help us to find the place to stay overnight with all our children. I would never suggest to anyone to go to this campsite.
We both arrived without a booking to the campsite which was very easy to find, the owner was quite busy fitting everyone in as the town was host to a large American car show but he took the time to make us feel very welcome and got us settled in a nice spot as we were camping. We paid €8 not €10 as we had a small 2-man tent plus €2.50/person per night so it was €26 for 2 nights. The facilities are kept very clean and they have a lovely outdoor kitchen to cook so we didn't need to crack open the stove to cook. They have a separate place for handwashing and enough showersnand toilets for everyone. The wifi signal was weak but fast when connected which you had to head to the main reception to be in range to use. We also rented 2 bikes for the day to go see the main town/castle grounds and the car show at the old airport which cost €8/bike per day. The owner takes pride in his campsite and often cycles around saying hello and making sure everyone is happy, he speaks perfect English. His little touch with erecting the flags of the nations staying there was very nice, so we were representing both Britain & Germany :) All in all a lovely place to camp for a couple of nights!…
