My favourite of all 7 hotels that I stayed in during my trip to India. This palace is huge, where we were able to explore all the nooks and crannies. Our room was lovely with a huge bathroom. The food is lovely and the staff friendly. Wifi is available in the courtyard. The terraces have great views over the village...

Room 101 was huge! Although regular power shortages, this was a lovely hide and seek palace with lots of nooks and crannies. AC and fans in all rooms, good service in their restaurant, lovely atmosphere. We stayed here as part of a g adventures tour.

This family run hotel offers a variety of exciting rooms. The history of the place is well worth looking into. The views from the sun terrace are breathtakingly beautiful and the scent of Jasmine lingers in the air. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

It is an old palace partly converted to a hotel.Palatial huge rooms decorated with royal touches. Bathrooms are the size of a study. Staying here was like travelling in time to a bygone era. The food is amazing and priced moderately. This palace is in a quaint village where there is nothing much to do except for experiencing rural Indian...

Stayed at this hotel as part of G Adventure tour. An absolute delight, I felt we had found The Marigold Hotel. Our room was very spacious with a big seating area, dressing area, huge bathroom and a lovely bedroom, with lots of little balconies, one which was reached by a secret door, and climbing up stairs to a roof terrace,...

This is a very beautiful property located in a quaint village where one can experience traditional Indian life and friendly locals. It is a heritage property - an old palace party converted to a hotel. My room was very large, enough space for 2 beds and a sitting area. I also had a separate changing room. The bathroom was large...

I don’t know what to say. I was in a lovely village in the middle of India, transported back in time thanks to this incredible palace. Each suite is different. We had three balconies and a private courtyard. A reception area, bedroom, dressing area and bathroom. It was a little chilly at night (but we were there in January). I...

Visited as part of our tour group but I understand many people come for lunch enroute to Khajuraho. Lovely old building with all mod cons (a/c, hot water shower etc) great staff, excellent service & outstanding food. If your coming this way I highly recommend

We loved this place. It was included in our G-Adventures trip in India. Everything about the place said "just relax". Two nights there gave us needed rest from all the traveling, great rooms, great food, balkonies here and there... or just sit on the roof. And the village was a lovely experience too. Recomeded.

On tour with G Adventures and stopped in this very old palace on the edge of a village for a couple of nights. Wi/Fi was a bit hit and miss but who cares. Food was great. Staff very helpful. Huge rooms. As we arrived and as we departed two blind guys come and sit in the archway of the palace...
