Unparalleled views! Looks up Queen Charlotte track over Marlborough Sound- good food , very hospitable hosts and lots of walking and kayaking exploring options - hot tub for tired walkers is a bonus:) Easy access from Picton or Nelson - a great getaway for any time of the year

We were hoping for a nice place to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. Okiwa Bay Lodge was not only gorgeous, but owners Susie and Martin went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their home is situated high on a hill surrounded by lush forests and overlooking the spectacular Queen Charlotte Sound. We were greeted with champagne and shown...

We arrived after dark on Good Friday, to be welcomed by Susie and a house-party of other guests and friends ; the meal was great, and we were tired & well-fed / watered by the time we went to bed. The 'big reveal' came the next morning, when we opened the curtain to what must be one of the great...

My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Okiwa Bay Lodge. The property and view is stunning and our room was very cozy, clean, and relaxing. We had a delicious meal with Susie and Martin and enjoyed every second of their company. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again!

It was an incredible stay - loved Martin & Susie and the fantastic views from the deck along with incredible 3-course meals prepared by Susie (hoping she'll write that cookbook). We enjoyed the comaraderie, a beautiful home, lovely hosts and meeting others from around the world at breakfast & dinner. It was our favorite b&b during our time in New...

Martin and Suzy are tremendous hosts of a gorgeous and comfortable inn with show stopping views. Do have dinner here as well, not because it is a bit along windy roads into town but because Suzy is an excellent chef. Our friend snagged the huge room with the view over the bay but ours, without the view, was equally comfortable...
