Nice little gem close to the river where you'd walk up to in just a few minutes. Very clean rooms. Friendly staff and very complete breakfast especially compared to the average French breakfast. They grow their own fruits and vegetables. Every day cleaning and fresh towels. We booked a family suite with a big terrace and a small kitchen. Perfect...

We stayed one night. The swimming pool, not heated, was pleasant and a good size. Our room was small but fine for an overnight stay. The bed was comfortable. We had dinner which was served at 8.00pm with no choice. Service was slow as we did not begin eating until 8.30, a little late for me, but the food was...

This hotel is a gem - in an absolutely beautiful setting - not too small & not too big - just right! The rooms are lovely - & the staff is outstanding. Karina, the housekeeper is a lovely, warm person who is top-notch at her job; her care (& Alice's) for the rooms is reflected in the cleanliness & appearance....

The welcome was warm and sincere and the hosts were very helpful. As it was a Monday, and we were the only guests the dining room was not open, but they recommended an excellent alternative in the town. The bedroom was spotless (save for the grouting in the shower). The beds and pillows were very comfortable (rare for rural France)....

We were a family of three generations who stayed in this lovely setting for four days. We all had a great time. We were demi-pension and the food was good, especially the breakfast. The rooms were comfortable with high standard linen etc.. The pool and other facilities were great for the children and the atmosphere was very calm. We had...

This hotel is hidden very well in the middle of the beautifull nature at the border of the small river called "roubreau". Very friendly hotelmanager, also the rest of the personel was helpful and friendly. There is a calm atmosphere in this hotel, far away from stressy things. The breakfast was complete and the dinner at evening was also ok....

We thank you for taking time to offer your comments and feedback. The set menu has the advantage of enabling our chef to work with the freshest, local products, but we can adapt and propose an alternative if the menu simply doesn't appeal to you. We stayed 4 adults at the Hotel Domaine de l'Eau Vive for 2 nights over Easter. The hotel is housed in a beautifully restored silk factory. The location is a beautiful country side. The rooms are very comfortable, with nice beds, nice bathrooms and showers, and individual heating controls. We ate at the restaurant twice and were impressed by the...

We loved the location beside a river with lovely views, the room which was spacious, comfortable and very clean, the staff who were friendly and helpful, eating the plentiful breakfast (including fresh fruit salad) on the terrace, the pool, the peace, listening to the frogs at night and the birds during the day, the building itself. A gorgeous place! Disappointed...

We used this hotel as a base to explore the beautiful southern Ardeche. Very good situation although it would be hard to find it without a Sat Nav.
