Yet again having a lovely pie with chips and vegetables. Great food again with a smashing open fire to sit next to. Plenty of parking and a village walk on hand. Plenty of good company and visitors alike.

First valentines night under the new management! The welcome was very warm with both local and out of town visitors. We had the 4 course special menu. Food was amazing, good portion size but not so large that we ended up in a food coma! The menu choice catered for all tastes and service was excellent. Looking forward to spending...

Fab place to stay. Food to die for. You have to forgo your diet, ignore your fitbit and remember food cooked by someone else contains fewer calories. Believe me the taste will make it worth the while and you won't need lunch after the fab breakfast which is sourced locally. You won't need lunch so you actually will be saving...

Last time I visited this hotel was over a year ago at a family wedding. Since then, the hotel has changed owners and they were excellent hosts. There was a free disco, a few snacks and a glass of bubbly at midnight, all free of charge. Well done and keep up the good work. Nice to see so many villagers...

New owners have made significant changes for the better. First class bed and breakfast accommodation and food. Very warm and cosy traditional inn atmosphere. Lovely menu with homemade food. Great pub / inn. Very pleasant indeed.

This Inn is nothing like described. Had 2 rooms a single and double booked. Check in time was from 1400hrs. Arrived at 1700hrs. Place looked dererlict. No table chairs outside no old fashioned wheels against building no hanging baskets out at all. Nothing like their photo. AND it was all locked up. Hand written postcard pinned to door saying 'dear...

The "hotel" rooms are very average, they could now do with a refurb. They are most certainly not worth £100+ a night!! Also when we got there early on the Friday afternoon there was nobody there, the pub was shut and the owners had gone shopping and left a note to call them to find out how to get into...

This place is in a backwater village, but is a delight. The room was comfortably furnished and the bed really, really amazing - loved it. Breakfast was cooked to order and used all fresh local ingredients. The host is friendly and responsive

We stopped here for lunch and was greeted with a warm welcome from the young lady from behind the bar she asked if we were having lunch and would like to see the menu and asked us what we wanted to drink. She came and took our order with a smile. The meal when it came was really lovely and...
