We were visiting wineries and restaurants in Piedmonte in November and we made a reservation to eat and stay at La Ciau del Tornavento. The rooms are right next to the restaurant. They are new and very modern with nice beds and bathrooms. No elevator or help with your bags on the second floor. The walls are also a bit... More

We were 13 persons from Norway dining at la ciau on saturday 10. Sept. What a perfect place to eat fantastic food, drink perfect matching wine in such wonderful surroundings. The restaurant has a interesting winecellar to visit. Very good service and the overall experience makes sure that the place is definately worthy their star in guide Michelin.

This is rapidly becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Piemonte with magnificent views during the day, sublime food and good service. In addition to that, Maurilio and Cecelia Garola have one of the best cellars in the world! It is however Maurilio's food that have everyone beating a well worn path to Treiso. It is the best ingredients and... More

Stayed here for 1 night in August 2014. We arrived a bit ahead of time, were greeted rather coldly and told by the receptionist to come back later. When we were able to check in though, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room, large bathroom and balcony (even though the latter was overlooking the street out front). Had dinner... More

Small but elegant rooms, newly furbished in a typical building in a pleasant small village. Wifi free. Excellent breakfast in the Ciau del Tornavento restaurant. Worth its admittedly not that cheap price.

We loved looking at the surrounding countryside perched on the top of a hill where this restaurant is located. The decor is very modern and the food divine. Every dish was beautifully presented with a creative touch. The staff was attentive and the owner allowed flexibility when ordering. This restaurant is well worth the visit and we plan to return.

We particularly enjoyed the appetizers and pastas during our visit to this restaurant today. The landscape is unique and worth the visit. Would highly reccomend the burrata with raw fish, the ravioli. If you want to try it, opt for the most regional dishes.

I celebrated my birthday here and everything was fantastic. What a wonderful place. Maybe the best dinner that I had in my 2 weeks in Italy. The view is worth the trip. The wine list was the best in all of Italy. The service was 5 star.

We had eaten in the restaurant, and stayed the night in one of the rooms in the building next to the restaurant. Great location, a really nice room - large, simple and well done, good bathroom, balcony with lovely views (I imagine - darkness and fog conspired to prevent us getting any view at all!). The bed was large and... More

This B&B is located on a hill top surrounded by wine ranks. The rooms were newly decorated, spacious and very romantic. The breakfast is at the restaurant where you’ll be served whatever you’d like. Staff and owners are very friendly and may provide you with valuable information and tips if you want to get to know the area.
