I stayed in one of the self catering cottages as part of the North Farm Cottages complex over Easter 2016 with my family. The location is absolutely fantastic and the house was very comfortable and well equipped as well as being perfectly situated to enjoy the beautiful Northumberland coast. However, we experienced a major issue with the hot tub which...

We had a wonderful holiday at Home Stead Cottage. The cottage itself was immaculate and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The log burner was a big bonus which we made use of every evening. The location is perfect - close enough to be within walking distance of a number of pubs but secluded enough to feel like...

I stayed here with my family (husband, baby girl, mum and dad, brother, sister-in-law and niece) for 3 nights in March 2016. We stayed in High Hemmel House - it was plenty big enough for all of us, and all the rooms would have been big enough to put a travel cot in. The cottage was really well equipped (we...

Stayed here with my wife and two friends, and could not have been more delighted. The cottage we shared was Stable D'Or. its has 3 bedrooms, 1 small double, 1 x twin, and 1 large double, and a kitchen diner/ lounge, and the views looking towards Embleton bay are stunning! Everything you need for a perfect holiday or short break...

My husband and I have just returned from a week staying in High Hemmel House with our 3 month old daughter and have previously also stayed in Granary Stone House. What can I say? - The absolutely perfect escape from the fast paced city life we are used to. High Hemmel is perfectly equipped with everything you could need. No...

We have just returned from a long weekend away, we stayed in the High Hemmel House cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and is in a wonderful location with a beautiful view of the sea. We will definitely return and recommend the cottages to anyone looking for a break in Embleton.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in Home Stead cottage. The cottage was perfect for our myself, my wife and our 17 month old son. The views to the sea from the lounge were stunning and the path to the beach was great. Our son particularly enjoyed feeding the ducks every morning (I think they got a bit...

We came across North Farm Cottages four years ago and have now been to stay on four different occasions; twice in Low Croft Cottage, once in High Hemmal and lastly in Long Cart Cottage. Our friends joined us for our last trip and their first words when they arrived were: 'How did you find this little gem?' The cottages are...

Came home today after spending time at the wonderful North Farm Cottages (friends are still there!) and what a fabulous few days I have had 'up north'. The cottages are gorgeous, spotlessly clean, bright and airy. The location is stunning with great views across the fields to the sea. A car is a must unless you want a truly relaxing...

We stayed here last week and had a gorgeous time. The cottages are spotlessly clean, decorated fantastically and have everything you need and more. The extra touches such as games, DVDs, books, binoculars, children's guide to farm and a great play area are lovely. The location is peaceful with the most amazing views and all the main attractions nearby. I...
