i would say we are not typical hostel users, but due to the busiest weekend in the Coll diary we landed on Coll the night after the 1/2 marathon. we managed to get 2 beds in the bunkhouse booked several weeks in advance. the bunkhouse was cleaner than most hotels we have stayed in, the beds were more comfortable and...

Had a very enjoyable stay at this new, modern bunkhouse. Just a few minutes from the ferry and across from the hotel - location is great. Good value and very clean. Comfortable beds. Towel hire £2 and showers - hot and powerful. Living area spacious and good facilities. Laundry room.

We stayed here with Basking Shark Scotland. Was a lovely little bunkhouse, very new and modern and had all the kitchen amenities. Local to all things in the area, there was a lot of information in the hall so anything going on activity-wise you had all the info. Really felt welcome, thank you!

We camped elsewhere on the Island but would have had no hesitation in booking accommodation in this place if the weather was poor. Really good laundry to the side of the bunkhouse and great looking facilities. We made full use of the community centre of which it is a part ( and which hosted two weddings in the few weeks...

My husband and I booked the Coll Bunkhouse for guests to our wedding. For a bunkhouse/ hostel the Coll Bunkhouse is excellently appointed. Jane and the rest of her team went to great lengths to make sure everyone was comfortable and were happy with the accommodation. Many thanks to Jane and the team and the islanders of Coll for making...

Came to Coll for a wedding. The hostel was next to the wedding venue which was perfect. It was clean and the staff who checked us in where very friendly. The island has a great atmosphere and would defo return. My only issue was that there are no plug sockets next to the mirror but we managed along fine. 😄

Went for 2 nights. Stayed for three. Great community owned hostel. The residents of Coll are the nicest people you could ever meet. Eating out is very good, both at the Coll Hotel and the Island Cafe. Seen my first Corncrake and watched TEN otters at play in a beautiful sandy, turquoise bay. can't wait to return to the best...

I stayed for 5 nights in the Coll Bunkhouse. It's new and beautifully appointed. Two comfortable rooms of 6 bunks, 1 room of 4. VERY good kitchen indeed and built next to the lovely new Community Centre. Everything you could need in the Bunkhouse including Power showers and washing machines. A step up the road to the shop. I could...
