Went for lunch with my husband and cousin mid-December. Restaurant very quiet although it was a Monday. View from restaurant fabulous with a chance of seeing dolphins but not this day. Food and service were excellent. Confirm chips are very good. I remember the North Kessock Hotel from my childhood when we took the ferry across from time to time...

A lovely trip down memory lane for you. Glad that you had a nice lunch with us and enjoyed the chips. For the Dolphin watch I would advice returning in the spring , or summer time when you can enjoy lunch on the patio and also do some dolphin spotting then too.

Staying in the Inverness area for one night so relied on reviews to help us find somewhere to stay. A very warm welcome awaited us along with a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude which is such a rare thing these days. Room was very comfortable with all one could ask for. Food in the restaurant was fabulous, as was...

Over many years three friends and myself have been meeting for lunch at the North Kessock Hotel, always adding a small indulgent bowl of their chips which we rate as second to none. On our most recent visit each one of us, unusually, chose a scallop chowder which we agreed was so delicious that we decided it was time to...

We dropped in on a December Friday evening on the off chance and there was a table available reserved for an hour ahead so that was a plus. The service was quite timely but dear me, the scallops with sweetcorn chowder was one scallop sliced into 3 amongst tasteless thin broth made with frozen sweetcorn only just warmed through. The...

The restaurant was exactly as one would wish. Unpretentious environment, service attentive and friendly, a menu reflecting the locality, a good mix of locals and incomers at other tables; good value for money.

After reading the good reviews about this hotel, I was so disappointed when we were shown into our " Double Sea View Room"( room 1) to say it was compact would be the polite thing to say but it was a tiny cramped room, spent two days tripping over our bags, and I'm sure it was meant as a single...
