Hana is one of the great end of the road places to find the real Hawaii. And if the beauty and magic of Hana had a name it would be Sam and Mercury and their beautiful spot they will share with you. beautiful grounds to wander full of tropical splendor the real Hawaii awaits here. As a resort owner in...

My wife and I spent 3 nights here and we loved our time there. Sam and Mercury were gracious hosts and we loved the peace and quiet. The open feeling of the room is fun. With the windows open, we heard the whales near shore one night at 2 AM, even though the place is not right on the ocean....

Before booking we read all of the reviews, both positive and negative. We can honestly say that in our opinion, the negative reviews are totally unfounded. Ala'aina Ocean vista is as advertised - a tranquil and secluded B&B. The property is beautifully landscaped and Sam & her daughter, Mercury take great pride in it. The extra touches such as the...

This was a great place to spend the last few days of our trip in Maui. There are so many great things to do and see in the Hana area and we were happy we decided to spend a few days there rather than to the drive up and back in one day. This property is beautiful and secluded. We...

Wonderful way to get away from the rest of Maui. Very quiet. Lots to do on foot. I biked there from near Paia. Had a sag with my stuff. Strongly suggest bathing in the outdoor tub. Nirvana. Sam and Mercury are wonderful. Really enjoyed preparing meals in the outdoor kitchen. This is not a place for folks who want all...

This B&B is in a private location on 4 acres and is landscaped like a minature Botanical Garden. You can enjoy an outdoor kitchen on the patio. It is so relaxing to sit outside and have breakfast and dinner with no bugs to bother you. There is always a nice warm breeze. You can see the ocean from 2 sides...

I had lived on Maui prior. In that time, I had stayed at Hana B&B's many times. I have never enjoyed a stay in the Hana area as much as this property. AWESOME and AMAZING!!. First off, it's not in the busy (LOL) village of Hana, it's 35 minutes away and two miles south of the seven sacred pools. Sam...

well, this is neither a bed nor a breakfast! You get a room where there isn,t even a table to put a cup of tea. Kitchen and table are outside, dont want to know what youdo when it is raining. Owner s interest is mainly in debiting your mastercard. Location is too far from hana (for what it offers) Comfort...

I was taken aback when i got to the entrance, following very helpful instructions. I hesitated to continue my drive although the instruction did say "drive across the open lawn". But what presented in front of my was just...too gorgeous that i was afraid i'd ruin the beautiful landscape! The place resembles a old-time hacienda, with every corner of the...
