Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had my friends from UK on visit and my husband arranged spa and wellness treat for us at the hotel. It was a lovely place and we were pampered. There is a spa on the rooftop as well which was nice. The waiter explained the food they served and it was delicious. The hotel rooms were nice and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Can highly recommend the place!

nice cozy spa hotel with 2 outdoor pools and 4 indoor pools plus 3 saunas. it also has a large lounge area were you can play different board games. the breakfast was nice. the dinner was ok. the selection of wines was very limited. according to the sommelier they will offer a larger selection of wines later on.

We planned together with hotel Viking a big party with a nice menu, decorations for the room where the party would be held and we booked a band to perform for the evening. The staff at hotel Viking were outmost professionals, always easy to get in contact with and was always ready to change anything without their limits, so that the party would be a success. The party was AMAZING and we were treated like royals the whole evening. We are already thinking about booking Hotel Viking again for another event in 2022. Good job guys

we checked inand went straight to a lovely massage which was a super relaxing way to enter a lovely weekend. Our room was exactly what we had booked and we were greeted to a modern, inviting room wiht an amazing bottle of Cava and Aalbrg chocolate as part of our stay. This was an amazing treat. It was our first night away from our kids and our first night away together in 5 years and we had an amazing time in the excellent spa area, enjoying all there was to offer: all we could have wished for. The ppol, hot tubs, saunas and cold bath were exactly what we wanted. The cocktails and food in the spa was also a great bonus. Our meal in the evening and breakfast lived up to the rst and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff in the restaurant and spa areas were a particular highlight and offered a really calm, pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend.

We went to hotel viking on our anniversary. We got a room with an ocean view, and the room was designed so that we could lay in bed and watch the sunset. The food was good, the service was very nice. It's definitely targeted more towards couples or friend groups. It's not kid-friendly, so if you are looking to not have to listen to crying kids, it's the perfect place to go.

I spent a night there with my friend and had a great time. The spa area has a swimming salt pool on the roof and a jacuzzi, they are great, you can see the sea. Breakfast is variate and good quality, plus you have fruits and water for free in spa area.

The location of the hotel is very nice, the rooms on the front side of the building are having a very nice sea view. I think the room that we had stayed was a superior room with a king bed, which was quite comfortable and let us have a good night sleep. The rooms are clean, however the bathrooms are a bit old and I think they need to get some renovation. One of the most important item which is missing in the rooms is a mini-fridge. There is nowhere you can put the drinking bottled water you buy either from the hotel or outside to preserve it in a cool place if you do not like having your water warm. Additionally, after 8 pm, it is impossible find any one working in the front desk in case you need anything, it can be a bottle of water, a towel or a slipper or etc. After a certain time in the evening there is no one working in the reception, this is a problem as well. The breakfast and the general ambiance of the main restaurant is really nice, it is quite cosy and warm inside with a country style interior decoration. We had a dinner at the main restaurant which was also delicious and satisfactory and there are various kinds of options if you are willing to taste some quality and specialty wine as the hotel is having its own wine cellar. The only problem is that you just need to find or catch someone to place your order :)

Situated just on the outskirts of the harbour town Sæby this is a pretty large establishment with numerous rooms, and swimming pool, spa therapy, massage etc etc. If you get a room with the sea-view you definitely feel much happier and inspired. Rooms are standard with basic facilities and amenities, but no chance of making tea/coffee in the room. Morning breakfast buffet is pretty large and OK with the usual - nothing great but nothing bad either. Over all, this place has a non-personal indifferent feel - you just do what you want to do. Quite OK at a reasonable price. We did not try their restaurant which appeared more expensively priced than its look.
