We stayed the weekend for our anniversary and it was the worst place we had ever stayed at. Owners are rude and ignorant and food is below par, well when we were there anyway but that's our fault for coming when there busy even though we booked!!! Won't be returning.

Went to the restaurant with eight others, very friendly greeting, we were seated and drinks bought to us, when all our party had arrived we were given the choice to stay in the bar or go to our table. We were seated, orders taken along with wine order, its a most comfortable room, nice and warm beautifully decorated, a little...

My aunt uncle and I went down for Wednesday pint and pie night and they both had pies that they thought were absolutely delicious. I am gluten intolerant and they checked what on the menu was suitable and my meal was very nice

What a find lovely restaurant amazing food... Decor perfect warm and welcoming. When you arrive you get a drink at the bar sit in lovely leather sofa's, look over the menu then they take your order. When your food is nearly ready they then take you to your table. Portions are plenty, presentation is lovely. Highly recommend.

The most comfortable and welcoming venue we know, with amazing food. Over the years we have stayed here often, held family celebrations and eaten magnificent meals. We returned last weekend after 18 months, and the refurbishment has made the house even more adaptable to any event. We recommend Frank's karaoke!

We had a wonderful little family party for Mum and Dads 50th wedding anniversary. Nothing is too much trouble for this place, the service, food and welcome were all wonderful and made our celebration really special.

Went for a Christmas dinner but was told you had to prebook which wasn't mentioned on the Internet site, very disappointed, the menu didn't explain what the meal included, will not be eating there again.

We had expected a small B&B, however, we were pleasantly surprised at the size and character of the building and of the rooms. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The standard double room we had, had a HUGE bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The bar was also full of friendly locals enjoying the football, but...
