We were welcomed on a wet afternoon in February with a cup of tea and some cake. That was how our whole visit was; warm and friendly. Both hosts speak very good English so we didn't need to be embarrassed over our appalling French. The dinner was delicious and I later used the recipe at home. The room, which was...

This B&B was in a glorious position in the French Limousin region. Off the beaten track, quiet, very comfortable and clean. Super walks right from the property. The husband and wife were extremely helpful and friendly and ate with us at dinner and breakfast. Most of the food provided was homemade and homegrown and absolutely delicious. As we were there...

We stayed here for 4 nights to attend our son's wedding in Limoges. The place was in a beautiful and peaceful setting and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. Maithe seems to prepare absolutely everything from their own gardens. Her jams are perfect! We had dinner there on our first night with our very gracious...

A really warm welcome, very high quality accommodation in a converted out building and good food. We really felt at home here even though staying just for one night. If travelling this way again we will certainly be back. Dog friendly and surrounding countryside very peaceful.

We were warmly greeted, shown to comfortable and tastefully converted accommodation and shared an excellent meal with interesting conversation. We felt genuinely welcomed into the de Bettingnes house. The breakfast matched the previous night's dinner. All in a most peaceful and attractive very rural setting.

We stayed one night in this beautiful place, on our way back from Spain. One night was far too short though. It's classed as a B&B, but what you actually get is a beautiful mezzanine apartment in a lovingly restored old cottage. Everything is spotless, and of a high standard and all the little details have been thought of. There...

Gorgeous place with private rooms and excellent lively friendly hosts. The room, well more of an apartment really was lovely with mezzanine sleeping area and very tastefully decorated. Great food and lovely views - too bad we could not stay more than one night!

This Sawday recommended Chambres is in a delightful location. The rooms, old outbuilding conversion, are superb. The breakfast and hosts were excellent... Madams preserves a triumph . Wish we could have stayed more than one night. If we are this way again, a MUST.

Maïthé et Paul … we were indeed charmed by your cooking from the fruits of your garden, the long walk, the adventure into porcelain and your wonderful companionship … one of our very best stays in a chambre d’hôte …

We had a wonderful experience at this little gem . Unfortunately we only spent one night here but will definitely be back. My husband was flying out of Limoges airport so we wanted to make an overnight stop in the area. I found Les Drouilles BLeues on Sawdays special places, it truly lived up to its name . The room...
