My husband and I recently traveled to Harbour Island to celebrate a birthday with one of our friends this past February. Our friends stayed in one of the hotels in Dunmore, but my husband and I wanted a quiet and private place to get away. Little Arches was exactly what we desired. Kim helped make our stay lovely by suggesting...

Little arches was utility challenged during our 6 night stay.We had a 3 hour power outage one day and two other days the water was shut off. All communications such as phone and wi-fi was also not usable during the outage, leaving the guest to drive to a hotel that had power . Locals said this problem was common in...

Harbour island is 3 miles long and half a mile wide . It's a paradise with a pink sand beach beyond belief! The island has now installed brand new generators so the power outages have been fixed. The unique advantage of when the lights went out was all the families take the flashlights and candles and take a short little...

We stayed at Little Arches in Harbour Island and had the best time! The place was clean, had 2 bedrooms on the main level and everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend Kim's Little Arches Villa to anyone who wanted a quiet place to stay with only a short walk to the most beautiful beach we've...

2016 was our fifth year visiting Harbour Island. The first couple of years we stayed at a resort. In 2015 we decided to take our family and grandson to the island. We stayed at Little Arches in March 2015. We had a fabulous time,we rented the whole house and made it our own for that week. The house had just...

My family stayed in Kim's house for our short getaway during my sons spring break this year. We rented the downstair 2-BR villa. The unit is spacious, well equipped. WIFI is available, but internet service is a bit underwhelming (looks like it is the cable company's problem though). Little Arches is at the south end of Harbour Island, because of...

The 3 mile beach is so lovely and the ocean is so clear that you can snorkel right off our beach in the same calm waters as the whole beach. When the wind blows there are waves along the 3 miles. When it's calm, it's calm for 3 miles. No difference😊

My friends and I rented the full property at Little Arches. So convenient to have everyone able to have their own space, bathroom, entrance and then great common space. The house is super close to the beach and in a great little, quiet neighborhood at the end of the Island. There are lots of roosters though roaming around! Kim was...

We spent a week at Little Arches with our children and their daughter. It was our granddaughter's first real beach experience and she is probably now ruined for life: nothing else will match up. Barbour Island is wonderful as expected (although expensive for food, etc.) and Little Arches and its owner, Kim, were perfect for our purposes. The location was...

We just got back last week from a lively stay on Harbour Island! Little arches is a nice little spot away from town. Kim's place , we had the top floor 1 bedroom, was open and airy, very clean, comfortable furniture...especially the deck lounging furniture, fell asleep there:). Lovely big deck. With both lounging and table/chairs for dining. Photos are...

We just spent our babymoon/honeymoon at Little Arches. What a beautiful property. Unpretentious and private. The pool is lovely and the rooms are incredibly clean. The hotel looks over the ocean and the beach which is only a two minute walk away is amazing. They even carry your chairs to the beach for you! Everyone who works there could not...

Just returned from a week at Little Arches on Harbour Island! Kim's house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. My husband and I stayed upstairs in the suite and the kids stayed downstairs in the 2 bedroom section. It is not located exactly "on the beach" but across the street from the beach...just a 60 second or less walk to...

“Service-Since it was a house, you pretty well took care of yourself, the maid comes once in the middle of your stay, but does a great job. Kim was very helpful with providing information about the island and staying there.”

“A nearby rooster starts crowing at first light... You might want to bring ear plugs! WiFi is slow and spotty... This is not a good choice for a "working vacation" but is an excellent choice if you're looking to "unplug" for a bit Horseback riding on the beach was not available when we vacationed in June 2013; according to the locals they're not sure if/when the horses will return :-( Make sure you know where the flashlights/batteries/candles/matches are located - power outages are common on the island Don't expect to find the US version of a "grocery store" on Harbour Island -- the biggest store is tiny, the smaller stores are miniscule. Grocery selections are extremely limited, and everything is expensive. You need to be prepared for that. Credit cards are accepted at most but not all places on the island. Ma Ruby's gives their chef Tuesday nights off Beach towels are provided, no need to pack them. Some beach toys and umbrellas are provided (they aren't in great shape, but it's better than nothing) There's a nice selection of paperpacks and a few board games available in the apartments Look for the colorful island map - it's a great help when exploring the island - remember to drive on the LEFT! No need to rent a car when you're there... a golf cart does the trick!”
