Excellent, quiet campsite with great BBQ and shower facilities. Very quiet and peaceful location with ample parking and spotlessly clean pods. The hosts were very accommodating and were very understanding of our early check out issue. The only problem we had was that the wifi was quite slow at nighttime and in the morning, but that was not such a big deal as Inverness is nearby and has plenty of cafes with wifi. Highly recommended.

Located up a steep hill, a few miles down the A82 from Inverness. There are just 10 pods, no tents, no caravans. Lovely quiet location in the woods (standard Highland midgies warning applies). Clean, modern and warm pods. Heaters inside are electric. There's 2 plug sockets and free wifi. There's a BBQ sheltered area but you can BBQ by your pod if you chose. Excellent location for MTB, road biking, walking or visiting Nessie and the Highlands. It appears that the toilets and showers are being replaced with a modern block. The host is friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcomed. Can not recommend this place more highly

It was a nice small cluster of huts in a beautiful location and it was easy to see the sights and get to lots of local attractions. It was lovely and peaceful. There was free parking, huts 1-7 you could park adjacent to your hut and huts 8-10 you had to park a short walk away (but when I say walk, it was less than a minute). Toilets were always clean. There was a communal bbq area in the centre and large table anyone could use.

I book the place with booking.com for our family to spend 4 nights. When i booked it was clear that i didn' t had to pay anything till our arrival in the property but after couple of days i had a charge of the 30% on my card without any advise .. so the owner decided to charge me the deposit. I phone the property to ask for an explanations and they told me that is written in they policy and if i had any concerns i needed to speak with booking.com.. well i was a bit upset but i just let it go... Now.. 2 weeks before my arrival to the property i receive an email telling me that they are going to charge the full amount. So i called the property to ask explanation the lady who answer the phone didn't want to hear anything rather then her version and her property policy so i had

Too many speculative bookings and 'No Shows' forced us to make significant changes to our policies, detailed discussions with Booking.com staff assisted us to make these changes. Just to be clear this reviewer has not stayed at the campsite so has not experienced the tranquillity and the stunning location we have to offer. Our current prepayment and cancellation policies are very clear at the time of booking. We also go that one extra mile that once a deposit is taken, 24 hours after booking (free cancellation within 24 hours) that we send the guest a copy of Camping Pod Heaven's own Terms and Conditions - these enable us maintain our standards, to assist in proper management and ensure the guests safety as well as establishing a clear legal contract for cancellation, damage and exceptional circumstance. Unfortunately, after various discussions with our mutual guest about his interpretation of our policies about payment on arrival, I agreed to cancel his booking and a FULL REFUND which he accepted. I am more than happy to renegotiate his accommodation but it will have to be on our terms and conditions. I remain very disappointed in the telephone attitude and email received by a Booking.com officer who instructed me 'balance payments have to be charged on arrival and not before, 'We are here to inform you that the amount of 70% left for this reservation has to be charged at the arrival and not before, as for terms and conditions.’ I have emailed the officer at Booking.com who took the call to provide the evidence within our policies that dictate that we accept payment on arrival but unfortunately, and as always, we have received no response. Policies of this campsite Children and extra beds •There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. 1 x "Camping Pod" • Cancellation: You will be charged 30% of the total price if you cancel after reservation and the total price if you cancel in the 60 days before arrival. • Prepayment: You will be charged a prepayment of 30% of the total price after reservation and the remaining amount in the 60 days before arrival. •Taxes and service charges: A VAT is not applicable A City tax is not applicable A Property service charge is not applicable

We have just returned from a wonderful trip. We stayed for 2 nights. The campsite is tucked away in a beautiful tucked away forest area not far from Loch Ness. Our girls of 8 and 3 loved it. We were greeted by the lovely owner and her 2 gorgeous dogs. The lady (I think was Ann) was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Wonderful communal cooking area. We had a BBQ and a fire going on our first evening, it was fabulous. The fresh flowers around camp and the slates with our names on, I found to be really lovely touches. We stayed in pod 9. It was nice and warm and cosy with the heater on. We had 4 foam mats which we laid out in a row and were given duvets and pillows and towels. Definitely hope to return maybe next year as it really is a wonderful tucked away gem in the
