We had a perfect stay at the Clansman. Our room (room 5) was on the second floor and had views of the beautiful Loch. - the bed was very comfy and the room was spacious with an ensuite with a great shower. - we had dinner at the restaurant which was lovely and again had a great view over the loch. - we were celebrating our honeymoon and the restaurant staff made our stay extra special by congratulating us and providing us with complimentary drinks. A definite unexpected treat. - all the staff we met both at reception and at the restaurant were friendly, attentive and happy to help in whatever way they could. I would definitely say this was more of a four star than a three star hotel.

Arrived and was welcomed by Adam. Very Helpful with information about the covid rubbish but we have to deal with it. Room spotless warm and the view was brilliant over the loch. Down for drinks pre dinner and again no issues (Apart from the weather!!) Hot water bottles provided! Dinner was stunning. Myself and my partner had the same mainmeal and cheese. Both clean plates. A few more drinks then back to the room. Bed was so soft! Room warm all night. Lovely hot shower in the morning. Breakfast was just as good as dinner! All staff on duty bothe day and night very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Had a fantastic 2 night stay at this hotel. Food in the bar was really good and I think something for everyone. Staff very friendly and helpful. As this hotel is based right on the banks of Loch Ness it was ideally suited for the 1 hour boat trip which was adjacent to the hotel. My only issue was no rooms cleaned during our stay which was not the hotels fault this was due to covid and the rules surround it at the moment. The next time we are up at Loch Ness this is the hotel that we would choose to stay in.
