Wonderful staff. Very beautiful setting just over the road from the Loch Ness. We stayed there on our honeymoon and were treated to a complimentary drink. We have a great meal in the bistro. The rooms were a little small but comfortable and clean. Recommended

Arrived at this hotel early afternoon to find a couple of coach parties already there which meant it was very very busy, not really something you want to be greeted with without warning!. The room was tiny, bathroom was extremely small with a leaky shower but it served the purpose, views were lovely from the restaurant but dont sit by...

We stayed just one night here and couldn't fault the staff or food (good selection and delicious), however our room was a let down. We didn't opt to pay the extra for a lake view, however weren't expecting to have to walk down a muddy, littered path to a separate lodge where our view was directly onto said path and...

On the shore of Loch Ness, this is an ideal hotel for touring. The hotel is welcoming and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant look out over the Loch and offer a good range of meals at a reasonable price. In the restaurant there are photos of John Cobb's world water speed record attempt in "Crusader"...

Our view was perfect from room 5, however the decorative pillows smelled like bad body odor and the springs in the bed hurt. The room was pretty small but the price was great. The rooms could use more sound proofing and all in all just an upgrade on the basics, I loved the flannel pattern on the carpet which keeps...

The hotel was in an ideal location overlooking Loch ness and had excellent views. We had a double room with a balcony and the room was quite average for the price we paid, however, since it was long weekend we understood why it was pricier than usual. The issue with the hotel was generally the service.. especially at breakfast! We...

I booked the stay online several weeks before and noticed I had initially reserved the WRONG dates I emailed the hotel to amend the dates and this was done quickly...

Luckily, we stayed only one night here. Large rooms and good view (well, it is just a lake after all !) but really smelt like a mould and must. Impossible to get hot water in the shower in the morning (in the two booked rooms...). Any B&B will be better !

If you are looking for a short stay, and is not relying on public transport... I think this is a best bet. My family loved the view outside the window... True Scottish Highlands view... The Jacobite cruise is just opposite to the hotel saving travel n parking headaches. However, the hotel in itself is just average. The breakfast was OK,...
