We cannot say enough good things about this little piece of paradise. The owners and staff (and family) were so welcoming - we felt like we were part of their extended family! The 'tents' are so luxurious and comfortable and the view as soon as you wake in the morning sets you up for the day - the breakfast was... More

Spectacular beach views and wonderful staff! We stayed at this beach resort as part of the Super Lekker package for our family of 6. This included 4 nights at the forest lodge and 2 nights at the beach. We arrived at the Rafiki Beach camp via a kayak trip from the Rafiki Safari Lodge. It was an 11km trip from... More

Took my family here for a 2 night stay and I can't even express how happy we are that we went. We have been coming to Costa Rica for 12+ years and I must say, we have never had a more satisfying experience as a whole. The tents are perfect, the location is amazing.....assuming you may like sleeping to the... More

The location on the Pacific Coast is fabulous. The beach is quasi empty on a weekday and stretches for miles in both directions. No big (or small) hotels spoil the view, they are all hidden amongst the coconut trees. Water is great temperature and the waves add to the fun. There is a rip tide two hours before low and... More

I wish we'd had more time at Rafiki Beach Camp! Two nights just wasn't enough in this slice of heaven. The 'tent' was spacious and comfortable (with a roomy bathroom and shower attached). We were in the beachside tent, opening right onto the beach, with lounge chairs and hammocks. So few people around, it feels like a private beach. The... More

We were looking for a place near Manual Antonio, decided on this place because we wanted to be on the beach. Also we were traveling with our 21 year old daughter and thought she would love it. She did, and so did we. Its probably about a 30 minute drive to Manual Antonio, but you can easily do that park... More

We spent just one night in this perfect place! Even if it was a bit rainy, we had the best time of all our road trip ! The tents are really great and luxury (a bit wet at night but that's normal) ! Perfect location next to the ocean, you really heard the sounds of the wawes and you got... More

Staying it Rafiki beach camp and Rafiki safari lodge together were the hi lites of our two weeks in Costa Rica. The atmosphere, the hopsitality and the location was outstanding. Kids loved being on a tent right next to the beach. Cannot recommend it enough.

My family and I stayed in Manuel Antonio but organized a kayak excursion through Rafiki Beach Camp. We met Lautije at the Savegre River bridge about 30 minutes south of Manuel Antonio where I handed him the keys to my car along with my wallet and other valuables to avoid having these with me on the river. I had communicated... More

Greetings all! We spent 3 amazing nights @ Rafiki Beach. It all started with the way we were greeted by Maureen, which was to set the stage for our next 3 nights/4days ..... serenity, peace, relaxation and a staff who were just A+. Breakfast (choice of 3 daily) was served by friendly staff, starting with coffee and a fresh fruit... More
