The Castle is very nice and the staff are outstanding. It's close to Edinburgh, St Andrews and many small villages that need exploring. The people of Scotland are very helpful and love talking to Americans. Be warned, they love to talk politics but never in an angry way. One thing to be aware of regarding the accommodations. All the units...

This has been an amzing base for us to stay in this part of Scotland. Warm, clean cosy and comfortable with plenty of room and the ability to self cater if required. Breakfast was very yummy and we have been able to see many local attractions as well as seing family.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights for daughter's wedding. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room we had was fine for what we required but it was a bit dated. Shower was a bit small and we had to use a spoon to hold shower head in place. Dinner was lovely and the guy who works in...

No wonder 'Visit Scotland' has deemed Kilconquhar Castle worthy of a four star rating! Earlier this month, we (three couples) stayed at a three-bedroom (all three with en-suite facilities) apartment at the Castle. The accommodation was spacious, sumptuously furnished and extremely well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen clean, fresh and of good quality. The lovely first...

Relaxed with full family and grand kids. Great accommodation in the villa that served all our needs. Loved the restaurant and the fantastic surrounding countryside. Handy location for St Andrews and seaside towns. Will be back

As much as we do look forward to our annual visit here - It does need some money spending on it - I think a lot of people who do return are quite happy - however it would really benefit from money being spent on the villas and general areas also. I appreciate these things can take time and an...

My partner and I visited Kilconquhar Castle for a night away, the grounds are beautiful and the accommodation clean but overall the place could use an update aesthetically. However my advice would be not to visit the bistro! The staff were pleasant and friendly but the food was diabolical. As a starter I had the haggis Bon bons, which tasted...

Nice place setting is lovely and the staff were helpful. Could do with a general upgrade but found it clean and pleasant. Breakfast was good but very disappointed in the restaurant food. Not cheap and definitely not al a Cart!! Pleasant stay but eat out for dinner!!

When arriving it was a little odd to be turning up at a grand looking building, following the arrows around to the car park to be checking in at the back in a less sophisticated area that has their 'leisure centre'. That was the good bit. Club room looked like it was last decorated last century and hadn't been cleaned...

We (four adults and one small child) stayed for three nights. We had been upgraded to a four-bedroom villa with sauna, which was great, especially when we had some visitors. The decor seemed a little dated, although the place was clean. The living area was large and very high, so it took some heating, but it was worth it, and...
