To celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday, we decided upon a Masquerade ball format for around 50 people in the wonderful setting of the Carnbooth (glass room). From the moment we booked, the manager, Jamie was attentive, welcoming and open to customising the evening to suit our wishes. The location was perfect for this event and the staff were relaxed and friendly throughout. The buffet comprising classic sandwich platter and a selection of hot dishes e.g. haggis Bon Bon’s, Pork sliders, vegetable pakora etc. was excellent. Top marks for ambience, service and food and a good night was had by all. Carnbooth is little known, but a place we will certainly consider more often for events, Sunday roasts, afternoon tea’s etc.

Took my mum here yesterday for her birthday. They do a afternoon treat, with fizz for £17.50. Omg they came with a large tray of sandwiches and a beautiful stack of cakes and treats and prosecco of course. Food was plentiful and delicious. Staff were very nice, we were in the drawing room, by the window, lovely breeze coming through, music in the background, ideal setting to just sit and chill. Will defo return, loved it. Well done Carnbooth hotel

I occasionally have business lunches at the Carnbooth Hotel and the food and service are always superb. We also use it for visitors who enjoy staying there, and appreciate its lovely bedrooms and delightful grounds. We use it for board meetings which occasionally incorporate an overnight stay.

My husband and I were looking for a venue for our wedding and the moment we saw Carnbooth House Hotel,we knew our search was over! We had a private ceremony outside (yes, sunny days in Scotland),followed by an intimate lunch with close family and a evening party in the marquee. Everything was just perfect: the venue was spotless, the food was delicious (thank you,Jay) the stuff very friendly and helpfull. A big 'Thank you!' to Jamie Milne who was always there for us,making sure our Big day is what we have dreamed of: it was a lot more than that :) Will definitely come back!
