Went for evening meal and were very impressed by the food and the service. The use of the lounge for coffee after the meal was very pleasant. The situation of the hotel with the view to Dirleton Castle is most impressive.

A great location for the purpose of our trip . It is also across the street from Dirleton Castle . The restaurant is fine and there is a nice pub an easy walk away . The rooms were very accepatble to us
Pleasantly decorated hotel . We had a lovely room with garden patio. Superb menu in the conservatory dining room . Quality food and drinks . Lovely village of Direlton near Archerfield golf course . Beside Direlton Castle . It was a great find !!

I'd probably recommend a more kid friendly hotel for a variety of OHSW reasons. It has good facilities but it is old and the stairs are steep and the road is "just there". If your child is aware and switched on and can endure no WIFI then it should be OK.
