Amazing short break at this friendly hotel. Attention to detail makes this hotel stand out - scones and tea on arrival, with special treats for doggy guests. Breakfast and dinner were superb, sausage for Jess particularly appreciated. Beautiful gardens to relax in, loved the massage at the garden spa. Can't recommend more highly. Thank you x

Have just returned from yet another excellent couple of nights at Trigony. As always, everything was just as one would like a country house hotel/restaurant to be, from the smell of your dinner cooking as you enter the front door, to the comfort of the rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff and, despite being a "standard" room this time, the...

Visited this beautiful hotel over the Easter weekend with my partner and dog. We were welcomed with a smile, as was Winston the dog who loved his doggie goodies on arrival. There are plenty of beautiful walks nearby which we made the most of, and when we returned we were greeted with top class food! A definite top marks from...

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Delicious food. Beautifully clean and welcoming. Shame we only stayed one night! Terrific location and a 'home from home' for humans and dogs. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

This was our third stay at this pet friendly hotel. Yet again the staff were friendly and so helpful, the food was a taste sensation and the room comfortable with stunning views. I would recommend this hotel and its well worth a visit if you are in the South of Scotland. We will go back.

What a wonderful really dog friendly hotel, We stayed for 3 nights with our Lakeland terrier Lily - we were a bit worried as we had never taken her away before but she was made so welcome by all the staff and Roxy the retriever we need not have worried, she loved all the walks round about and her morning...

My husband and I stayed here the night before our daughter's wedding with herself and her five bridesmaids. It was also my daughter's birthday! We were made so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had excellent bedrooms and a delicious, relaxing meal, for which we were late, but despite this we were still greeted with...

We have just returned from a relaxing weekend at Trigony and we loved every minute of it. The house, surroundings, food and location are all excellent but what really makes this place special is the staff. You feel welcomed from the minute you arrive until you leave. Nothing is too much trouble - you feel that everyone there genuinely wants...
