Just happened across this gem whilst driving around Lough Mask. Landlady Barbera was so welcoming and friendly. Beautiful views overlooking the lough. Ended up parking our camper overnight and having a wonderful evening. Would highly recommend 👍.

If 10 was an option then that would be my rating, from the moment I booked and Barbara contacted me to confirm, I already felt at home, food was lovely, views are amazing, hospitality was second to none.. you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like friend..cannot reccomend highly enough.

I only stayed one night but wish it could have been longer. Barbara was so pleasant and welcoming! The room and en-suite bath were immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. The room faced Lake Mask and the view was spectacular. I highly recommend Maire Luke’s!

Myself and my partner Pat thoroughly enjoyed lunch served by very pleasant and efficient Orla who informed us on query the location and name of mountains we viewed from garden bench under canopy. Barbara and Frank facilitated our booking while strict observance to COVID 19 procedures were adhered on presentation of our COVID vaccine certificates and wearing of masks

I turned up announced looking for to hire a boat and a place to stay . A shot in the dark.. till I asked Marie, hard to explain her personality. I was treated like someone that needed help rather than a person who was looking to be accommodated. I got a boat and room ,then and there. I could thank her enough with words , but hope to be regular guest for as long as I love to fish

Well what can I say, words escape me when describing Maire Lukes. The view of lough Mask is breathtaking and straight away you're in awe. The staff can't do enough for you, and don't get me started on the beautiful labradors Sally and Susie! The food is also magnificent, I would particularly recommend the butterfly chicken washed down with a pint of Guinness. 5 stars!

I arrived to maire lukes not knowing what to expect but as soon as I arrived and seen the two beautiful labradors welcoming me as i got out of the car, I knew I was in a family friendly environment. The room was spacious and luxurious with a great view of the glorious lough mask for great value. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, any question or queries I had were answered with enthusiasm and dealt with immediately. Its an ideal location for some fishing or hiking during the day and to chill out in front of an 86" TV watching a match with a pint and some delicious food in the evening. I couldn't recommend it enough!

We had our baby girls christening in maire lukes, we got the best service, it was quick and the food for everyone was delicious! We were treated by all staff with great respect and we were looked after without asking. We'd highly recommend this bar and restaurant to anyone, for a quiet drink, a nice dinner or gathering!

Happened to come across this amazing place on a trip of the west coast. Barbara the hostess was a lovely lady who gave us the most beautiful room overlooking Lough Mask. It was spotless, homely and had the most amazing views over the lough. There was a little basket in the hallway full of toiletries, reading glasses etc which I thought was such a welcome added touch and was so thoughtful The pub downstairs was great welcoming and full of local friendly characters. Breakfast in the morning was continental but a cooked breakfast was offered if needed. Was sorry not to be staying on as we had further plans but this is just a stunning area and we will certainly return to Marie Luke’s and would have no hesitation recommending x

Had a great night of dancing here to Mathew o'Donnell from Connemara, He is a very talented young man with a great band. There was an admission charge of only 10 euro. Staff are friendly . Pub and toilets are clean.
