We enjoyed the experience of the Hotel bed was comfortable and clean, had a lovely meal in the Mary Beale restaurant if you are a light sleeper do not have the Birch room number 27 which is above the kitchen prep area and was noisy up to 12.00 and then again from 6.30 in the morning apart from that it...

Overnight stay for my husband's birthday treat. Good value Groupon deal with dinner and breakfast included. Service excellent but room rather hot though. Didn't find shower in room that good but bathroom was a generous size. Overall a nice stay. Disappointed in the crumble dessert that was not crumbly!!

Lovely little hotel with gorgeous grounds. Come here throughout the year with friends. Love the toasted sandwiches for a light lunch. Afternoon tea isn't too bad but not 'west end' standard. Always friendly staff. Can recommend

Thank you for your review of West Lodge Park, and for your recommendation following your frequent visits. I am pleased that we have always looked after you, and that the staff are always friendly. This summer 2017, we are investing over £50'000 into a kitchen extension which will enable us to have a dedicated bakery for afternoon tea items such...

We’ve just spent another five nights at this splendid hotel, housed in what was once a stately country home, that has been run by the Beale family for generations. West Lodge Park has become our ‘preferred address’ on our frequent visits to London. The tireless, friendly staff - a mix of seasoned professionals and bright youngsters - really make you...

Thank you for another very kind review of West Lodge Park, and I am so glad we are maintaining a consistent record during your frequent stays with us ! As I am aged 53, I suppose I count more as a seasoned professional than as a bright youngster, but here's to living in hope of being categorised as the latter...

This wonderful place has been dear to me for over fifty years! Beatles catered for my parents' wedding in 1949; the main events of my family throughout my childhood were celebrated at West Lodge, culminating in my 21st in the early seventies! Since then I have moved away to Norfolk but have stayed (not as often as I'd like) quite...

Thank you so much for your glorious review of West Lodge Park ! Everything you have said chimes with what I believe in. When your parents first got married here in 1949, the hotel was under the careful stewardship of my Grandfather Edward Beale, and it was a sleepy post war kind of place, with few staff, and rationing very...

Have stayed here previously and everything has always been excellent. This time was no exception. Lovely looking building, spotless lounges, efficient reception, beautiful sun bathed and spotless room (61) including a walk in cupboard, friendly and very smart housekeeping staff, fantastic 3 course dinner and breakfast with staff who understand service and customer requirements. Did we enjoy our stay, Mr...

The staff, service received, standard of food of the highest standard. Stayed for 1 night, room was a standard double which, though a tad small, really well maintained, comfortable, clean and very nicely furnished. The breakfast was fab too!

Thank you very much for a wonderful review after your second stay at West Lodge Park. I am so pleased that we looked after you so well, and that the second visit was as good as the first, something often difficult to achieve. We have been busy investing in all our bedrooms as usual, with new bed throws, new pillows,...

My partner and I stayed in this hotel on the 7th of January. We wanted a relaxing night after he completed a 42 hour journey and thought this place would be perfect before we ventured back into London. I'm not saying it's a bad hotel because to be honest we have both stayed in way worse places and any complaints...

Thank you for your review of bedroom 61 at West Lodge Park, I am sorry that you didn't really enjoy your stay with us. Curiously just two reviews above you is another report about the same room 61, and they loved it, so I guess we can't please everyone all the time. The weather has been freezing cold, and then...

Thank you so much for such a lovely review of West Lodge Park, I am so glad that both you and your step mother enjoyed your visit. It has been owned and run by three generations of the Beale family since 1945 and now has 59 bedrooms, the Mary Beale Restaurant and Terrace Bar, 8 stunning banqueting rooms, and plentiful free parking. The hotel is located just a mile from Cockfosters Tube station where there is a large car park and frequent trains on the Piccadilly Line to all the sights of central London. Around the hotel is the magnificent Beale Arboretum, with over 800 species of trees from around the world, 2 national collections of hornbeams and swamp cypresses, and plentiful hard paths and interpretive signage. The hotel is also home to the Edward Beale collection of Old master paintings, most of which have been painted by the ancestor of the family, Mary Beale, who was Britain's first professional woman artist, painting at the time of Charles II.
