After watching Monarch of the Glen on Netflix.... I know I'm a few years late... I was flabbergasted by the beautiful castle!!! The only way to see the castle... is to park at the entrance, and walk the THREE miles to see the castle!! It was soooo worth it. But another option...a shortcut.... is to rent ATV's and tour it...

We recently spent 3 night at the Gatelodge at Ardverikie estate in Kinloch Laggan. It was beautiful and with full access to the estate we had a great day roaming around and enjoying the sights from both Monarch of the Glen and Outlander. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The accomodation was perfect for us and...

From the initial Phone and Email enquiry, the whole experience of staying here was superb. Mhairi, who I booked with was fantastic and is a real asset to The estate and nothing was too much trouble. Even some of the stupid questions I sent her we're answered quickly and professionally. And in her absence The Estate Manager Phil was equally...

we rented this cottage from the ardverikie estate and we were more than pleased with it: the front of the cottage looks a bit derelict but once you are inside it has plenty of charm ! stayed there with a group of 12 and we had ample space and the comfort was up to standard ! great service from the...

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 13 and 16 year old) went for the 1 hour quad biking tour. None of us had ever ridden a quad bike before, so we were very appreciative of the patience of the tour guides while we learned. Quad biking was a lot of fun. We were a bit disappointed in the scenery (we...

Being a fan of Monarch of the Glen, I was hell bent on seeing Glenbogle while in Scotland. I was delighted to find that it is actually a working estate that rented cottages out. We rented Rowan Brae which is a 3 bedroom self catering cottage and it was really reasonable. The estate is over 500 acres and is absolutely...

Stayed here in September 2015 for 3 nights. Chose this area as I am a big fan of Monarch of the Glen. Was not disappointed, everything was handled beautifully from the beginning of booking to our arrival and collection of keys. Chose to stay at Pinewood and glad we did. Photos on the website do not do it justice, it...

We had a great 2 hours quad biking around the estate used for filming "Monarch of the Glen" with Highland all Terrain. We started with a safety talk and instruction on the bike the off to the glorious beach by the loch for a bit of practice. I had never been on a quad before but picked it up really...

With a capital A... Awesome morning of activity. Thrilling 2 hour quad bike tour of about 22 miles through this stunning 50,000 acre estate. Great fan of Monarch of the Glen and so it was brilliant to get as close as we did to the house and the iconic beach. A technically challenging ride and by far the best value...

We had such a great day today! Thanks to Dan our guide we had a great crack. I couldn't recommend this day out more. We took a two hour guided trip on quads, not so sure this is anything to do with the estate as I believe its run by Highland All Terrain, either way well done lads and thanks...
