We visited The Galloway Arms on Sunday evening looking forward to sumptuous roast dinner having been there twice last year - we wont be back! I'm not sure if the business has changed hands or they have a new 'chef' but the changes are not good. Everything on the plate was cheap n' nasty, frozen food - well apart from... More

WiFi did not work in this room but was not a problem as it was fine in the bar, The staff were excellent in all areas, reception, bar and dining room and the standard of service second to none. I have read some comments about the standard of food and I believe the... More

Once again we chose this hotel for our Annual family reunion. 24 of us thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful meal, and no need to pre-order! How do they do it?. The food and the service was excellent. Some of us had an overnight stay in very clean comfortable rooms followed by a superb Scottish breakfast. All this at a very reasonable... More

I regularly visit loch ken and always make a beeline for this fantastic hotel. The food is amazing and always cooked to perfection. They obviously use the finest ingredients available and I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is brilliant.
