Beautiful hotel, with beautiful views. Brilliant location for visiting anywhere between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Room was lovely, staff very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and sets you up for the day. Would highly recommend and will be staying there again.

I must take a minute to to respond to some of the responses made by your General Manager to reviews of Broomhall Castle. I often read the bad reviews and wonder at some of the things others complain about. It is a shame to allow small details to taint opinions particularly when others may find little or no fault. However...

We were very recently married at Broomhall Castle, and we could not fault the venue or the staff. From our first visit to the castle a year ago, we knew this was the place for us. Staff are very professional, very organised and courteous and made us feel very at home. Communications were great in the lead up to our...

My fiancée and I visited Broomhall Castle on November 5th with my parents to discuss its use as our wedding venue. My first regret was not taking the time to read some TripAdvisor reviews before hand. Upon arrival, following our off-road experience through the maze of potholes ascending to the castle, we still remained optimistic. Unfortunately our optimism soon faded...

We arrived late evening on a quiet Friday night to a lovely old castle at the top of a twisty turny driveway. Luckily the restaurant was to the right as you go in so it was easy to attract attention as we couldn't see a dedicated reception desk. Our room was on the top floor but there was a goods...

For the second time, we stopped over at Broomhall on our way to Ullapool. It is everything you would expect from a Scottish Castle, wonky floors, creaking doors, Oak four-poster beds in airy well-lit rooms, hearty highland breakfast. Dinner is excellent but maybe a little expensive but so is Scotland, Breakfast is all in and very substantial. For those of...

Stayed here on business for one night, only WiFi was 3 floors below, TV was not in the bedroom but in an anex room, where I slept on a fold out bed. Breakfast room was really quiet but told to sit in the corner, not where I wanted near a window looking out. I look forward to my visits to...

Ok here goes our response. Firstly we only have and advertise that WIFI is on the ground floor only and not in the rooms and the booking agent who booked your room never mentioned that you would need it in a room! Secondly the room you were in has a separate bedroom & lounge(our family suite) so that is why...

Stayed here with family and had evening meal. Staff were the friendliest we've had ever in a hotel. Kids got kids cocktails and a chance to handle a claymore and play in the princess of Spain's chair. Happy kids, happy family

We stayed in Broomhall Castle for one night but wish we'd been staying for longer. It's in a great location, spacious rooms and the staff are really friendly! We arrived quite late but got a very friendly greeting from Gary at the hotel. Well worth a visit and ideally located to pop into Stirling.

We wanted to stay in a castle during our Scotland trip and booked Broomhall as our first stop after leaving Edinburgh. Great choice! The staff was friendly and helpful. Food - both dinner and breakfast - was excellent. The property and rooms are beautiful. No air conditioning or ventilation in the room which was very stuffy during an unusually warm...
