The room was pleasant and warm, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. Dressing gowns were provided so lack of ensuite wasn't a problem. A warm welcome at this elegant Georgian B&B in Lauder. The room was large, the breakfast superb and the afternoon tea served in the guests' lounge is a final bonus. Highly recommended. And Lauder is a charming Borders small town with some interesting shops and places to eat.

I cannot praise this property enough. We only stayed one night after a three week touring holiday in Scotland. We should have stayed longer. The welcome was warm and genuine, the accommodation was superb and the breakfast was first class.
