Just like the Post Office...thru wind, snow, ice or rain....we made it to Sandestin a day late..due to ice in New Orleans. But here we are! The weather is cool, but the hospitality is hot. The resort is beautiful and the suites are large, very...More
It has been quite some time since we have been to Sandestin. Our Embarc accommodations were very pleasing. We stayed in a one bed, two bath bay view. It was spacious and clean with everything we needed. We like to do some meals at our...More

Embarc is a group of timeshare properties, access to which is owned by about 23,000 people from around the world. The properties have always been referred to as being a "club" environment (signs even say that it is for "members only"). Basically, all the amenities of the club (aka the timeshare property) are available to anyone staying at the property. The company that now manages "the club" is selling access to these facilities - so no longer a "members only" environment. If you go, be prepared to be asked to attend a sales meeting (some of which can be pretty hard sell) - read any documents that they provide carefully because what is said at the sales meetings and the actual sales documents (the legal binding documents) are not the same.
