Thoroughly enjoyed our two days here. Very lucky with the glorious weather which meant we could sit out on our balcony watching the sun go down. Two excellent dinners served by friendly staff and a comfortable bar with an excellent selection of whisky. Would go back.

Visitors should be aware that the hotel is not generally open to the public for drinks etc.during the daytime and apparently only open to residents in the evenings. Check by phone before you travel or, like us, you may be disappointed with a wasted journey.

Stayed here for 4 nights this week. It is a lovely hotel serving fantastic food. I had 2 dogs and the place really welcomes dogs which is great. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Staff great, very welcoming and helpful especially Irma (front of house) who was very professional, friendly and attentive. Couldn't fault my stay and will definitely book again in the future

Booked this hotel over the phone and they were very accommodating. The hotel is well presented for its age and the rooms were very good. We didn't have a view but as we were only there for one night that wasn't important. The staff were very friendly and Craig on reception was most helpful and pleasant. The meal was simply fantastic and there are some gentle walks around the village to take afterwards. Breakfast was also very good. Will certainly look to stay here again.

We stayed here for 1 night the room was very small and basic, paid £130 for B&B which I felt was over priced for what we got. Breakfast quality was poor . There is nothing else here in Dinnet so I suppose the hotel feels they don’t have to try as there’s no competition . Even although it’s peak season still pricey
