Stayed for 4 nights in mid February. Wrong time to go as it was very quiet and there was no atmosphere in the hotel. The hotel looks very nice on the outside but it is situated on the main A93 and all it's traffic. Inside they are having alterations done but this did not really effect our visit. We had...

A thoroughly enjoyable short stay, our second in a year. Excellent room, very quiet. Food delicious, lots of choice. Lovely walks in the forest and lochs just a few steps away. Manager and staff all attentive and on the ball. What more could we ask for?

On arriving at Loch Kinord after a long drive from London we were greeted by a very welcoming & friendly gentleman. He gave us all the information we required without us asking ie restaurant & bar locations & wifi password. He showed us to our room which had a four poster bed & a lovely outside seating area overlooking a...

Booked through work, hotel undergoing refurbishment and chef was on holiday so no food however manager very helpful and allowed us to use meal allowance at Indian restaurant down the road. Great character, traditional design and fantastic customer service. Would like to come back when all is in order. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

We recently stayed a single night at the Loch Kinrod Hotel with family visiting the highlands. A warm welcome on arrival and excellent service throughout our stay. One of the party needs a wheelchair to get around and effort was made to ensure that he was comfortably accommodated. Dinner was relaxing with a good choice of food -- and an...

Sat in front of the fire with hamish and morag! Our room was cosy and clean and nice laid out and decorated. Spa bath was fab. Lovely way to...

This was our first trip to the Highlands, which we found beautiful and well worth the visit. We thought this hotel looked quite good on the website, but found it disappointing and expensive for what it was. The bedroom was far too small for a four poster bed. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and I had four poor...

We stayed here for two nights with our baby, it was quite a last minute booking due to events going on in the area (Ballater). The hotel was easy to find on the main road through Dinnet and there was parking round the back. The hotel was clean some in the process of being done up but there was signs...

There are so many places to choose from. And so many places to visit in Scotland. We wanted to see the south east portion of the national Park. We found it to be much quieter than the more developed West region of the Cairnsgorm national park. The hotel is a little dated and worn. Our host was delightful, and our...

We stayed at Loch Kinord Hotel for 2 days during the Breamar Games and enjoyed wonderful food in their dining room for 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners, warm hospitality from the owners, and gracious comfort in the rooms. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this part of Scotland!
