We visited bank holiday Monday as part of a special offer deal. The room was lovely and clean and extremely spacious. We went to the bar area for afternoon drinks and was served by Cari-Ann. She was vert at tentative and catered for both our needs. We had a few afternoon drinks with smoked salmon salads. Again lovely meals and...

My friend and I had a spa day which included the use of the gym, steam room, sauna, swimming pool and lunch. When we arrived we were greeted by a cheerful, polite member of staff who introduced herself checked us in then took us on a tour of the facilities. The treatments rooms were very nice and the treatments lovely,...

I am going to start on a positive note; Miskin Manor and gardens are stunningly beautiful. But beware, as soon as you enter the building it all changes. How this establishment has two AA rosettes is beyond belief. First of all I had booked Sunday lunch for two vegetarians, I have always been told by AA awarded hotels to inform...

If you want a fantastic memorable wedding day, look no further than the Miskin Manor. My fiancé and I viewed every wedding venue in South Wales ,before thankfully we viewed Miskin Manor. We were so disappointed at other local venues ,We had almost decided to have our wedding ceremony abroad. Not only is the venue superb, the staff were professional ,polite...

I stayed mid week on a business tip with bed, breakfast and evening meal. Beautiful old manor house in lovely gardens and easy access off the M4. My room was in the former stables which was very charming and comfortable. Downside of the room was a large crack right across the sink in the bathroom and no iron (there was...

We only stayed for one night due to work commitments. The room was Fantastic along with the view. My wife asked for a jug of milk for tea on our arrival as she dislikes the little ones hotels supply and within less than 5 minutes staff had brought it to our room. The staff were very helpful, polite and professional....

My daughter and I visited Miskin Manor on Tue 21st Apr 15. We had an appointment with The Wedding Planner, Natalie, I use the term wedding planner very loosely as all she basically did was read the brochure to us and hurriedly showed us the function rooms. Her attitude came across as having something better to do! She seemed surprised...

We have just returned from my cousin's wedding and I cannot praise the hotel and the staff enough. From our arrival to our departure the staff could not do enough for us and all with a smile. I asked for an iron & ironing board, within five minutes it arrived. The staff are constantly cleaning so the hotel is spotless....

It's a delightful building and I'd go back for the healthy portions of both the bar and al la carte menu. We had skate wings which were well cooked with butter and samphire. Will try for afternoon tea soon! Only slight downside was the price of drinks, but then it is a hotel, so one cannot sniff at that. Do...

We were visiting south Wales and found that we needed a nights stay at short notice. Having read the reviews of Miskin Manor we were a little dubious about staying there but it was late and we were tired so we went for it. We are glad we did. The room we had was lovely, The Nest Room 2. It...
