Had afternoon tea in Miskin manor today. Worst afternoon tea I've ever had. Terrible selection of sandwiches and stale cakes. Never leave anything on a plate but was quite happy to leave my cakes today. Poor service too and heard 2 other parties complain as I was leaving. Afternoon tea served late without any tea/coffee. Kept on having to leave...

Just come back from a wedding here, fantastic place. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was amazing. We stayed the night and the room was lovely, very clean and very comfy bed. The breakfast was great, loads of food and very tasty. Would like to say a special thankyou to Bryony Greenman who was very helpful sorting a problem I...

Stayed here Saturday/ Sunday 12th and 13th September. Purports to be a 4star experience. No way!! Yes the grounds are impressive - hence the one star - but the Hotel amenities were very disappointing. Some may say that the decor is quaint and old fashioned, but stale and neglected might be a better description. Breakfast was mediocre. Plates not warmed,...

My husband and I stayed at Miskin Manor on a Thursday and Friday in September. The hotel looks beautiful from the outside and the grounds are spectacular. However, inside it feels dated and somewhat neglected. We stayed in Room 29 which was great in terms of space but the bed creaked every time you moved and was really quite uncomfortable....

Visited for a September wedding. Fabulous grounds and the historic buildings are a fantastic venue for a wedding. Very well looked after on the day by all the staff. Lovely venue and occasion, well worth a visit. Would like to stay over at some stage and we will. Recommended

Please note that this review is for my stay in the hotel only. I did eat in the restaurant but my experiences were such a world apart it would be unfair to lump them into one. Firstly, when trying to book over the phone I was left waiting for over 10 mins whilst the receptionist tried to find out if...

We are just back from a fantastic wedding in Miskin Manor and the hotel was quite simply superbe. It has a lot of character and charm and dates back to the 10th century. The grounds are simply stunning and fortunately we had great weather which made for quite spectacular photos. There are a beautiful array of flowers, well maintained gardens...

I was staying here for two nights on business, something which the website states it is good for. I can assure you it is not. On the room facilities it states that TV and free wifi is available. This is a lie as none of the rooms can get wifi signal. The only available wifi was in the public areas...

The room was very good for the money apart from house keeping had left a blocked toilet which was quickly sorted once the front desk was informed. Myself and my husband were staying for a wedding the food was little disappointing at the wedding but breakfast the following morning was great. Drinks were expensive but that is to be expected...

We were very lucky to be invited to this special place for a celebration lunch. The lunch was celebrating a birthday, wedding anniversary and book launch and it could not have been more perfect. Everything about the afternoon was magical the food was great and the staff very efficient and courteous. What a wonderful day!
