We stayed in the cabin by the lake with a wood burner inside and purpose built fire pit outside. Absolutely brilliant to have a drink around a fire by the lake after a day of mountain biking! Cabin was clean and tidy, firewood provided and adequate toilets and showers. A very special spot, we'll definitely be back!

Lovely campsite with great views over lake. Clean toilets and showers. Slight negatives, water flow and temperature of shower could be better. Presently not so much water and too hot. Works with £1 coins for ten minutes. The shower curtain on one showe does no keep water in shower. No running drinking water. This is supplied in plastic containers. Was...

We stayed at Cae Adda campsite over the May Bank holiday weekend and from the moment we arrived we were taken back by the beautiful nature it is set on. Just by the lake with fantastic views. Clean facilities. Good size two shower room and toilets. Well equipped kitchen. But I simply cannot give more that 3 starts because of...

Came here on 23rd October 2015- 25th October 2015. Arrived in the evening after a four and a half hour journey, cabin was waiting for us, had table and chairs, camp mats fur rugs, pillows and a lovely log burner. There was a crate full of logs to burn, firelighters and newspaper, which was well needed in the cold. Cabin was really...

This was my 3rd visit to Cae Adda and it never ceases to amaze me how great this site is, stayed in the Camping Cabin with 2 mates this time and had the best time. The place is so clean and everything you need to be comfortable is thrown in, if you want peace and quite this is the place...

I spent the last night of my DofE Gold expedition here. The facilities were truly fantastic - three separate toilet rooms (two of which have showers), kettle, microwave, boot rack, drying room and wash facilities. The only negative was the understandable need for payment for showers, although it was only £1 for 10 minutes.

Slightly misleading title: I don't generally like camp sites and as a rule I free camp in places no-one would ever notice (or mind) I've been. But Cae Adda is an exceptional place, and I had an amazing weekend here. On my stay I was the only visitor. The site was immaculate: not a scrap of litter anywhere, and having...

We stayed in the wooden cabin for May day bank holiday and what an amazing time we had. This place really is a hidden gem. It is right on the shore of the lake with amazing views. The area is so peaceful and we just didn't want to leave! The showers and facilities are immaculate and cleaned frequently. Unfortunately, we...

Stayed for a weekend of mountain biking in the area. Beautiful campsite right on the lake shore, immaculate showers and good basic camp kitchen and drying room. We stayed in the wooden cabin which was absolutely perfect. The cabin had a wood burning stove so we stayed warm all night and dried our wet riding gear. Fire pit outside the...

I used this campsite as a starter for my expedition to explore the rhinogydd and the views will not let you down! The views were stunning with no noise to bother you apart from the sheep, but everyone loves sheep. As the sun went down you could gather round the campfire which was sectioned out as well as a swing...
