I have just stayed here for the past two nights. The accommodation is clean and tidy and good value. The breakfast is also of good quality. The bar meals are also of good quality (rack of ribs is fantastic). The staff are all approachable and friendly. It's the third time that I've stayed here over the last couple of years...

We went for an Easter family meal on Saturday evening. Even though they were fairly busy, we were approached with a welcoming smile and good service throughout the whole meal. The atmosphere made it a pleasant and relaxed. You cannot fault the quality and quantity of the food for the price. Blue steaks were cooked to perfection.

The Lamb & Flag is a lovely pub/restaurant, with a very 'homely' atmosphere and décor about the place. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious, I had the garlic mushrooms to start and sirloin steak for main, and they were very large portions! (Biggest dinner plates I've ever seen). They do a 'smaller appetites' section on the menu though, which...

But our quick pit stop turned into...

I come here for work every 6 months and stay only at the lamb and flag inn due to the warm welcome, great food, friendly and helpful staff and the town centre is 5-10 mins drive away. Also has a great breakfast menu! Reason for not a 5 🌟 review is due to the following. Wifi is intermittent at times...

Just along the road from the local hospital, the Lamb & Flag is a fab' stop off between visiting times. Lots of space, inside and out, and a consistently enjoyable menu. I love to move between the thoughtfully arranged, comfortable spaces and just take an enjoyable break. A rather ingenious friend even negotiated to temporarily leave her hospital bed for...

We have been regulars at the lamb and flag for many years and was very sad to hear that Charlotte was leaving but she's back and the service she provides is out of this world the rest of the staff need to watch and learn. If you want 5* service go to the lamb and flag and hope that she...

Good value rooms, our second visit here. Friendly staff. Nice Welsh breakfast and lovely steak pie and chilli pot for dinner. Good beer. Beautiful view of sugar loaf mountain from room (5?) Bizarre choice of channels on TV (no BBC) but I imagine the mountain blocks the signal, or maybe a Welsh eccentricity :)

We visited this pub for lunch after driving past it a few weeks ago!! Very nice staff and food was very very nice... Quantity and quality were both in this case... I would advise getting there early as it can get very busy very fast. Well recommend this little pub..
