The waiting staff were very attentive and friendly, will definitely be back to sample a dessert as they looked amazing but we shouldn't of had...

How can I best describe this wonderful place? It has proper ale, proper food, a proper fire - two in fact and a proper welcome! In short a proper old fashioned pub. This is my second visit here and I look forward to my next.

Despite this we were shown to a table straight away - the pub was very busy and you...

However we had a comfortable stay. Ate in the evening . Food was fantastic, staff very friendly & the setting just perfect with the open fires...
