We stayed for 3 nights in Sep 2016 in the Old Rectory, bed and breakfast. The view from our bedroom was beautiful, the accommodation overall was brilliant and our hosts Karen and Paul provided us with a memorable stay in South Wales. They couldn't have done more. We had a wonderful breakfast at the Old Rectory and our evening meals... More

Paul collected us from White Castle - he arrived just 15 minutes after our telephone call. Karen welcomed us with tea and cakes in the lovely guest lounge. Both are friendly and willing to spend time with their guests - nothing was too much trouble. We planned to have a return visit to The Hunter's Moon for a meal, and... More

We received a warm welcome in this excellent B&B, on a great location, with a pleasant pub nearby, The Hunter's Moon Inn (where you can have an excellent meal in a nice and cosy atmosphere, with good ales). Very nice room, great shower (nice, after a day's walk on the Offa's Dyke), and lovely breakfast. Very friendly place offers a... More

This is easily the best B&B in the area and the hosts Karen and Paul are most welcoming helpful and friendly. We have stayed here twice whilst visiting our son and daughter in-law in nearby Grosmont and each time we have really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spotless extremely comfortable with lovely on suite facilities. Paul is an expert... More

The Old Rectory is in a lovely peaceful setting, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Welsh countryside. The room was large, comfortable and spotless. The food was great and loved Karen's cakes - best cup of tea ever! I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Old Rectory in Llangattock Lingoed places you back in time fifty or hundred years. This former vicarage is beautifully decorated and conserved in original style, yet all modern facilities like wifi, tv and tea making facilities are available. Most special aspect of this B&B are the stunning views over the valley and over the well maintained garden. Moreover, the... More

I took my wife here after I'd stayed before with 2 friends while walking Offa's Dyke. Very welcoming couple made our stay very comfortable. The house and its location are beautiful. It's well worth having a look round the unusual ancient church next door.

We were on a walking holiday and this was our first day. We arrived early evening having walked quite a distance and were greeted by the owner. She showed us in, carried one of the bags up to our room and asked us if we would like a cup of tea. I accepted readily and she said to come down... More

We stayed in this attractive (seventeenth century?) cottage next door to the lovely Llangattock church for one night. It's conveniently situated half way between White Castle and Pandy so within a long but do-able day's walk along the ridge to Hay. Karen was extremely welcoming and the room which had an amazing view was very comfortable. Llangattock is no more... More

We received a warm welcome after reaching the guesthouse, which is frequented by walkers like ourselves as it is right on the Offa's Dyke path. The best feature of our room was the most fantastic view back over the valleys and hills we had walked during our day's hike. We were offered tea and cakes in the guest lounge on... More
