Hosts Brian and Debra were absolute gems, making our entire family so welcome and felt like we had come home. Breakfasts were amazing and rooms more than adequate for our needs. Fantastic location for exploring Caerleon, Usk, Breccon Beacons, Forest of Dean, Cardiff and Chepstow. We will most definitely be back!

Wow!! Just...wow! This home is absolutely beautiful. Brian and Debra were wonderful hosts. Brian went out of his way to pick us up from the bus station and drop us off at a car rental place. His traditional English breakfast was wonderful - best eggs I've ever had. I cant wait to come back.

The Granary is ideally situated for people who want a beautiful and peaceful location to relax after a day exploring the area. My son loved being greeted by the chickens when we returned from a long day out. We stayed in the Snug which was perfect for three people and had everything you need for a self catering base although...

I have now stayed twice while being involved in cycling events near Newport. It is 15 mins from the velodrome if that and a lovely place to stay. The warmest of welcomes and hospitality is followed in the morning with a cooked breakfast which keeps you going for the rest of the day.

We ended up here for 10 days whilst our house was being finished. Brian and Debbie were very friendly and we felt very welcome. We stayed in the Snug which was a well equipped split level conversion. The garden was gorgeous and views of the countryside fantastic. I would have no qualms about recommending staying here rather than a hotel....

An outstanding location, accommodation and host. We stayed 5 days and hated to leave. We stayed in the Snug and the accommodation was excellent, clean and quiet. It is a true diamond and the host is most welcoming. Breakfast was great every morning. Our thanks to Brian and his family and a special hello to Maisie and Hoppy. We will...

My wife and I stayed at The Granary last weekend. We were attending a birthday at the nearby pub called The Wheatheaf and the whole experience was nothing short of perfect. Brian was very accommodating from the outset and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The location is idyllic and its proximity not just to the pub, but also to...

Brian and family were welcoming, kind, generous and helpful from the time I phoned to enquire to dropping us back to collect our car (after a night out) to save us having to get a taxi. Lovely, very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful countryside location, great breakfast and a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Really good stay at this bnb. Very friendly staff, good food, good company. Lovely area and a nice walk to the village. Would recommend 10/10! Very nice views all around too, a bit secluded and hard to find but in a way that adds to its quaint beauty.

“The Snug is good for self-catering and lots of space for family or couples, but be careful with the beams - my husband hit his head several times! We also like the loft window very much - you can see lots of starts at night.”
