Lunch for twenty former colleagues. Excellent flowing table service throughout, nothing was too much trouble. Superb food. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Recommended. Staff were great. Looking forward to another visit.

Booked for a meal here as it came recommended from a friend. Did not disappointed in any way. Fantastic surroundings, superb meal, very friendly and attentive staff. Choose the particular evening as it was Jazz night! Great evening all round topped off by hubby having...More

Place pleasant enough, but bizarre wine pricing. A large glass of Pinot priced at £6.75, so I asked how much for a bottle (imagining that it would work out a little cheaper that way), but was told a bottle would be £21, making a bottle...More

Went for a birthday lunch here on September 9th. Very expensive for average food plus had the unfortunate experience of sitting next to a large table of loud, brash racists who made the whole experience unpleasant.

About
Description
The Beaufort is under new ownership since October 2015 and has just been awarded a 4 Star Inn status with Visit Wales. Since the new owner took over the inn has had a vast refurbishment throughout. The rooms in the More main hotel building have been tastefully decorated with rich sumptuous medieval colours whilst the Coach House has a fresh "New England" style decor. The inn oozes quality and old world charm. The food is brasserie style with a Mediterranean twist and you can see the fresh fish and seafood on display at the restaurant entrance. There are 2 course lunch and evening special menus which are very good value and a full a la carte menu complimented by a vast wine list. So whether you are looking to relax on the terrace, sip a real ale by the fire in the cosy bar, do business in the ample conference facilities, or overnight in their boutique rooms then savor their legendary breakfast, The Beaufort is the choice for you. I asked the manageress when we visited for lunch a week ago. She said if a group asked for a real afternoon tea they could and would provide it.
