We stayed at Staniel Cay (yellow cottage) for 3 nights in February 2015. We flew in to Staniel Cay by Flamingo Air from Nassau-small plane fo my tall husband but it was a great view, no issues. Staniel Cay staff picked us up at the 'airport' in a golf cart, very little wait. The cottage was cute, a little worn...

If your an adventure traveler and just looking for a place to lay your head in the area these cottages are sure to please. Don't expect televisions or any of the extras you might find on mainland as resources are scarce in this area. However, with so much to do discovering the surrounding areas with their pristine crystal clear water...

We bought the island-hopping package offered by the yacht club. While the location is incredible – it’s midway up the Exumas and the Thunderball Grotto is just off the marina – the rest was not. I’ll simply list what we encountered on our stay at the club’s Coral Cottage: a safe that didn’t work, giant dead water bugs in our...

My wife and I stayed in the "yellow cottage" we heard that the bar could be noisy so this cottage was away from the bar. You take the meal package ( food was pretty good) because there is nowhere else to eat. Meals are served at a certain time that is it. No grocery stores to speak of so forget...

My husband & I recently stayed at the Ocean cottage here and we can't say enough about it. Amazing location with a fantastic view - gorgeous sunset. Such a cute little place with an underwater theme. Pretty much everything we needed was there - microwave, toaster oven, fridge, hairdryer, futon couch, fairly comfortable bed, towels, porch with comfy chairs, TV,...

My husband and I stayed in one of the cottages at Staniel Cay in early May 2011. The cottages are small, but comfortable for a few nights. The view from the porch over the water was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was also good. A very relaxing place to go if you want to kick...

My husband and I stayed in one of the cottages, Shipwrecked, over Thanksgiving this past year and fell in love with our gorgeous surroundings, gracious hosts, and welcoming residents. Each cabin is handpainted with a unique mural theme by owner and local artist Bernadette Chamberlain; ours had a deserted beach panoramic scene and featured satellite TV and a small but...

Because there were no previous reviews, I booked our stay on a whim based on the Staniel Cay Cottages' website. We loved it so much that we are returning in Feb 09 - and we travel rarely - and on a fixed budget. My husband and I were hooked by the friendly reception and easy candor offered us when we...
