I need to start by saying the staff are fantastic here, couldn't ask for better, the establishment on the other hand needs to be bombed and start again. It's old, run down tired exhausted even. Finding sand in the shower is never nice, this is not the fault if the cleaner, there is no water pressure here. Air conditioning is...

All the rooms have direct view on the blue ocean waters. Quiet and friendly place, it is a mix of family, young couples with limited budget or those who do not like the crowd of bigger resorts. The hotel is not excellent construction but the room size and the cleanness are definitely a plus if you consider booking your vacation...

hotel was ok, would have been better if Ben was not on vacation. No kitchen for dinner/lunch. Beach beautiful, people very friendly. Leroy is the best he was our transport around the island. Expensive transportation if you are using cabs. Overall great place for beauty and relaxation. Hope to go back when Ben is there.

We stayed at this hotel second/third week of January. The hotel is clean, the manager (forgot his name) is very accommodating. He provided great customer service, he is also an excellent cook. We paid around 799 for one week which was a steal (LivingSocial). Also air Canada had an amazing deal on a flight for $400 round trip for 2...

My two friends and I came here for our spring break, as we preferred a small hotel with beautiful, empty beaches to a busy all-inclusive hotel with a raging nightlife. The island and Exuma Palms were absolute heaven and exactly what we were looking for. We were taken care of from the minute we arrived. Since the hotel didn't serve...

This is a delayed response to my stay, but I thought that Exuma Palms rightfully deserved another 5 stars. Simply put, Ben goes above and beyond for his guests. Even before we arrived, we contacted the hotel as soon as we made our reservation and emailed the hotel regarding some questions we had. Ben responded within the week, and thus,...

We stayed here using a Groupon in January of this year. The price was great for the area. The room was average, nothing too special, but the beach in front of the hotel felt almost private, there were so few people.... And it is as beautiful as the pictures. We had a $70 dining credit, which we used to taste...

Where do I begin? We arrived on Tues April 8 at around noon. Check in isn't until 3:00 but our room was ready by 1:00. We were greeted by both Teresa and Ben and enjoyed a complimentary drink at the bar while waiting for our room. I travelled with my 14 year old son. The view from the bar was...

Our stay at the Exuma Palms was wonderful! Upon check in (which was late evening, I might add) The owner, and chef extraordinare, Ben met us and checked us in to our room personally. He had been to the store and purchased very nice sandwich items as well as sides such as pasta salad and cole slaw for us to...

Hey Amy and Noah! You guys were just great guests! It was such a pleasure to have you both here, a shame so short but you definitely did the island justice, by exploring and enjoying her beaches, waters, cays and personalities! Thank you so much for your lovely review, our guests are what makes it all worth while, as so...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a new hotel on Exuma, in the midst of a transition, striving to bring you casual but fine dining, ensuring you have fun, minimizing your impact on the environment and maybe teaching you something along the way. Our on-site marine biologist Nicole will be happy to assist you in your personal discovery of the local flora and fauna. She has also implemented many environmental reforms guiding the resort to a more sustainable and harmonious place without hindering quality nor comfort. Because her passion lies with the ocean, Nicole is very knowledgeable about the marine environment and is willing to help you organize excursions. You can experience the world famous swimming pigs, James Bond's Thunderball Grotto, the world's oldest marine conservation park or discover the life beneath the turquoise, clear water. We want you to have a nice, relaxing holiday, enjoying local customs and activities, but ultimately coming back to the comfort of your ocean view room with private balcony. Here you can enjoy coffee in the morning or Caribbean cocktails as the sun sets. We would love to share our passions and values with you, in a way that will only enhance your vacation, leaving your footprints in the pristine white sand, and not on the environment. We are not a chain hotel, therefore we offer the ultimate personalized experience for every guest, including young adventurers. We look forward to sharing our piece of paradise with you, and your visit. ... more   less
