Not ideal place to stay. It is a motel at the most with pathetic furnishing and bathroom. I would not recommend this place for a holiday, maybe to rent by the hour but nothing more. Do not listen to the 5 star reviews, it is nothing like what they say. Please look at the lower star reviews, they are the...

Good food, friendly staff that helped you with any questions that you had, excellent beach as all are in the Bahamas, comfortable beds, rooms could use a little more furniture, all in all good deal for $190 a night. Close to the airport if that's what you like.

After reading the rave reviews, I was expecting a clean, simple hotel on a great beach. I found a run-down cinder block motel, clearly in need of maintenance and renovation with an indifferent staff. There is little beach left at high tide and not much in the way of beach furniture. The photos are decidedly misleading. While I am fine...

Very relaxing, comfortable, somewhat remote. The dining area was very simple but inviting and like all of the rooms had a tremendous view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinners were especially well prepared and the chef/cook was very friendly. The rooms were roomy and very clean with a small fridge and coffee-maker, not luxurious but comfy. The...

This is a small hotel that is located on a beautiful beach. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay to enjoy the ocean this is an ideal place. The staff were nice and the food was great, especially the breakfast.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Exuma Palms for 2 weeks, mostly for business. The room was spacious and very clean the housekeeping did a great job. Food was very good and reasonably priced. At breakfast Caroline (Chef) would always come and have a chat with me which was very sweet as I was there solo. Everyone there...

My stay at the Exuma Palms was wonderful! I was fortunate to have an upstairs room, and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. Listening to the waves was so relaxing. The rooms were very comfortable. Everyone at the hotel was very accommodating. The entire staff went above and beyond to make the stay pleasurable. Even Ms. Bella was a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a new hotel on Exuma, in the midst of a transition, striving to bring you casual but fine dining, ensuring you have fun, minimizing your impact on the environment and maybe teaching you something along the way. Our on-site marine biologist Nicole will be happy to assist you in your personal discovery of the local flora and fauna. She has also implemented many environmental reforms guiding the resort to a more sustainable and harmonious place without hindering quality nor comfort. Because her passion lies with the ocean, Nicole is very knowledgeable about the marine environment and is willing to help you organize excursions. You can experience the world famous swimming pigs, James Bond's Thunderball Grotto, the world's oldest marine conservation park or discover the life beneath the turquoise, clear water. We want you to have a nice, relaxing holiday, enjoying local customs and activities, but ultimately coming back to the comfort of your ocean view room with private balcony. Here you can enjoy coffee in the morning or Caribbean cocktails as the sun sets. We would love to share our passions and values with you, in a way that will only enhance your vacation, leaving your footprints in the pristine white sand, and not on the environment. We are not a chain hotel, therefore we offer the ultimate personalized experience for every guest, including young adventurers. We look forward to sharing our piece of paradise with you, and your visit. ... more   less
