I did a surf trip with Tom yesterday and it was epic! My wife stayed in the resort and myself and one other man from NYC went surfing from our resort too. Tom collected us from our accommodation (The Cove - Eleuthera) in his big off-road customized surf-mobile. The wind was a little tricky but because he’s been surfing in Eleuthera for 15 years he knew exactly where to bring us. We ended up going fully off road to a deserted beach near the James Cistern area. On the drive there Tom told us all about the history of the island, the plans for the future and other activities we should do while in Eleuthera. All very interesting and useful. Then we arrived at the beach, a sandy beach in a horseshoe bay with nice easy longboard waves rolling in. Tom spoke to us about the current, the seabed and gave us a track to get outside of the break and then drift into the waves where we could pick off some nice lefthanders. At lunch he brought out a home prepared lunch that his wife Liz made for us (Liz also runs the local vet two days a week too). Coconut 🥥 pieces, No-Bake Cookies 🍪 and Peanut Butter and Local Jam sandwiches 🥪. All delicious and needed for energy levels. There was three of us sitting and eating and having a laugh, a Bahamian, a New Yorker and an me an Irishman. The second session was a little lighter as the tide had gone out so the waves were a little harder to catch. Tom taught me to do my first cutback which was a great achievement. Sunshine, good waves and great people - what more can you ask for! A definite must-do when traveling to Eleuthera.

Cathys place is a lovely guesthouse with everything you can wish for! A breathtaking view from your room, a lovely host, clean facility, kottchen and comfy bed. They have well working Wifi. It’s only a 5 minute walk down to surfers beach. If you want to take surfing lessons, get in touch with her son Tom. I‘d always come back to that place!

We have stayed for 6 nights at the studio at downstairs with shared bathroom and common kitchen. Our stay it been simply fantastic, we appreciated the kindness and hospitality of Tom's mother who prepared a coffee every morning for us. We also did a snorkel excursion with Tom and it was very funny and interesting. We hope to come back here in future. At last, value for money perfect! I guess the lowest price in Eleuthera! Very reccomended!!

7 days in Surfers Haven is just paradise. Tom and Liz are wonderfull, helpfull and fun to be with. I spent 2 nights in the Surf Shack, nice and clean, you have everything you need Inside. I spent 5 nights in the studio, the view is stunning, and all the equipments are just what you need. It's not a 5 stars hotel of course, but you just feel like at home. Perfect for surfers, and people who like to be outdoor and enjoy the nature.
